In general, I don’t see the value in the subscription service. The product should at least do the basics without the add ons. Having to pay a monthly fee to use the light and music seems expensive and for what you pay should be included.

Good but could improve

This is a really helpful machine but it has so much more it could do to improve! For starters, give more selection fir bedtime srories/routines. I feel locked in and like im repeating the exact same thing over and over. Maybe allow audio books to be read or something so I can choose exactly what I want to listen to before bed? Give me more sound options for sleeping as well. I dont want JUST ambient sound. Maybe I want ambient sound AND music. Or I want waves and music. It has helped my sleep but it definitely has a long way to go.

i wish i got more fun wake up alarms, i wish the gilmore girls was still there im kinda sad bc i really wanted that wheni boutgh it. BUt i wish there was more routien and alarm options

Almost perfect

The only thing that I wish was different with the Hatch is I wish there was a way to turn off the alarm sound without turning off the light. It looks like the app has the capability for this if there was more customization with the morning routine the way there is with the night routine. (Ideally being able to have the light stay on and automatically turn off at a certain time each morning)

it’s befuddling how the hatch app has managed to remain the single most infuriating app in the App Store. also, the QR code for instructions as opposed to inclusion of paper ones makes a lot of sense for people who likely already have smartphones, but opted to purchase a physical alarm clock. i don’t recommend it.

It’s fun and relaxing to use! Does help me wake up easier. The noises could use some improvement. I find some really harsh sounding. Also, the app is glitchy. Not sure it’s worth the price. But still glad to have it.

The Hatch has been a great addition, often waking to light before the sound portion of the alarm kicks in. I am disappointed in the selection of sounds available without a subscription, especially after paying a significant amount for the device.
