Love the wake up but struggle with sleep options

As a millennial who has only ever used my phone to wake up, I have loved the hatch. I STRUGGLE with waking up and frankly, still struggled with waking up when the hatch was on my bedside table. However, I moved it across the room and it made it way more effective. It’s like a distant sunrise!!
I haven’t used the wake up sounds, I like waking up early because of the peace and quiet I get. I have however tried the sleep sounds and I really have struggled with the interface, options, and control around the sleep unwind options. I also just feel limited with those sleep options.
For example: I gave the astronomy one a try, but there’s episodes? I accidentally clicked through but then I didn’t know which episode I should’ve started with. But then I started it and it like phased out of the episode and didn’t finish? But I wasn’t ready to move to the next step.
I feel fairly limited in the options to use to wind down so when I finally found one of interest I was disappointed at the lack of control/it phased out before it finished and then I just got frustrated and moved to my storm sound.
The storm sound does work but I wish it had more thunder, or maybe louder thunder. That’s a more personal preference though.
To note, I am insomniac. My mind just races at night so I was excited to finally see a sleep series topic that intrigued me (the astronomy one) but was quickly confused and frustrated. I hope this is helpful feedback, I look forward to growth within the app!

UPS and downs

I love the equipment but when I got it I’m pretty sure it was broke there is a rattling inside everything works correctly but still worrisome for something that expensive. Speaking of expensive the week after I bought it it went on sale so I paid full price for it

We originally got a hatch

We originally got a hatch for our baby shower. It wasn’t on my list or even something I knew about. A year later when my daughter moved into her own bedroom we found ourselves missing the hatch in our own routine. So we bought a hatch restore 2 for ourselves and haven’t looked back!

An Essential Extra

I debated getting a Hatch for several years before finally getting one, and I can honestly say that it was an excellent purchase. As someone who needs noise every night to sleep, the meditations help me fall asleep and the sounds help me stay asleep. The subscription in the app is a worthwhile investment, and it looks good in my room as well so it's not just another useless thing sitting around. The Restore is worth every penny!
