Functions fine, dislike subscription model

In terms of intended use, this alarm clock works great. The thing that gets me bothered is the additional monthly subscription cost for daily stories that sometimes repeat and the inability of using this feature if there's no internet. Why am I paying additional money for repeat stories on an already expensive glorified alarm clock?

good but not worth money without subscription

the product itself is good, but i didnt realize just how much actually required to subscription to access. wont pay for a subscription so definitely feel taken advantage of in regards to what it can actually do. also didnt realize the sounds dont gradually begin, just start (could 100% be consumer/user error/misunderstanding). we are keeping because its still better than a normal alarm clock, but probably wouldve tried something else had i known about the subscription

Best Sunrise Clock EVER!!

I will recommend Hatch to the end of my days. I’m NOT a morning person whatsoever, but Hatch has changed my mornings for the better. My sleeping habits began to affect my personal life, and my career. I needed help. Thanks to this clock, I wake up EASIER, and sooo much HAPPIER. I genuinely never thought this thing would change my life so much. If you’re on the fence of buying …GET IT!!

We love love our Hatch alarm clock! My favorite feature is the sound machine and the sunrise feature. My fiancés favorite feature are the alarm sound choices. It’s been so great for us and makes our morning routine much better.
