I wish it functioned as advertised

Exceptional idea, horrible execution. Root cause is the subpar app. Instead of being relaxed at bedtime, I am extremely frustrated. Should not have to put forth so much effort and still not be able to get the app to function properly.

SO Helpful for kiddo with ADHD!

We LOVE our Hatch! Our son (11yrs) with ADHD has struggled with sleep--falling asleep, staying asleep, waking up rested, etc. --for years and the Hatch has been a genuine game-changer. Once we hit on the right blend for pre-sleep and wake-up routines, it was magic. He's falling asleep so much easier that we even bring it with us on vacation to keep that comfort and solidity of good sleep even while traveling. (Hot take: the "cracking fire" sounds are even more soothing than the rain--trust me. ) Thanks, Hatch!

It works if you work with it

Helpful especially during the winter when the sun rises late. If you’re someone who snoozes everything then this may not be for you. For a long time even though I put my hatch on the opposite side of my room I would just grab my phone and turn it off. Now I force myself to get up when the light wakes me. It’s nice to wake to a light and not a startling alarm.

Can't live without it

I treated myself to a Hatch when I had to return to the office. This was a new way to wake up and get ready to go to work. I have enjoyed waking up to the light and sounds. It's amazing (rather than a buzzing). Plus, the sounds to fall to sleep are wonderful. I love the wind down option as well. So many great features on the Hatch. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is the subscription to be able to enjoy the sounds. I had to purchase the subscription because if you do not, there are only samplers and a very few sounds available. It's not good. I was not happy to spend even more money to be able to enjoy this product.

4 stars because of all the videos I watched to influence me to get a hatch, none of them told me you had to purchase an annual subscription membership to use the hatch as well. But I love the alarm clock. It’s refreshing waking up to the light and sounds. Fully customizable.
