The unit itself is very

The unit itself is very nice. I enjoy using the noise function to sleep. I'm docking 2 stars because I think it's ridiculous that so many features are locked behind a subscription paywall. I'm sorry but a subscription to a noise machine is absurd. I knew there was a subscription before I purchased the unit, but it was difficult to tell what exactly was available in the unit without the subscription, and some of the things I wanted require the subscription.

Enjoying it, but some drawbacks.

I purchased my Hatch 3 during a time where I was trying to create a new routine for myself. When I first received my Hatch I was disappointed in trying to switch my nightly routine to a hatch routine as it was not a simple switch and ultimately took me about 3 hours. I than found out that essentially without the additional membership the choices for noise are extremely limited to a few. So if you would like anything like pink or white noise expect to pay for the additional membership pricing. After living with my hatch for a while I will say this, overall the learning curve was worth it. I am waking up feeling refreshed I enjoy the different light settings that go with each noise and have created a beautiful morning and nightly routine that have helped erase some of my anxiety when waking. I do recommend the hatch if it's within your price point with the additional membership. I would not recommend it if it's going to break your budget to get it.

Great for 5AM Wake-Up!

I had a regular alarm that was just a loud ring right at 5AM. It was often really jarring and put me in a state of anxiety first thing in the morning.
The Hatch has really been a game changer. I don’t wake up all panicked anymore, and I love the gradual light. Waking up at 5AM, means most of the year I will never wake up to the sun being up before me. This has greatly helped with my circadian rhythm! Not to mention the wind down exercises are an added bonus.

Exceeded My Expectations

I was both insanely curious AND annoyed with myself when I bought my Hatch. I was curious because I’d heard great things from both influencers and non-influencers that the Hatch was a game changer. But I also felt like it was very hyped up by the influencers, and when I’ve bought into that in the past, I’ve been left disappointed. But curiosity won out and I ordered it. I was trying to redesign my morning routine and get up earlier after moving to SC (where it’s still pitch black at 6am << my desired wake up time). It took a couple of days to get my settings and Hatch routine just right but I am IN LOVE with my Hatch!! I’ve been falling asleep WAY faster (I think I’ve only ever seen/heard the transition from My Nightly Unwind to Sleep TWICE!!) and staying asleep WAY longer (I was waking up between 2-4am almost every night and now I’ve seen those numbers on the clock A LOT LESS)!! I also find waking up at 6am much easier and more enjoyable!! I’ve even found myself waking BEFORE 6am a bunch, which is crazy to me!! I don’t know how I’m going to live without it on vacation next month, haha!! Definitely not a trend or just hype, it’s now one of my favorite things!!

Love my hatch

Not to be dramatic, but this alarm clock has given me the best sleep of my life. Who knew that having an unwind routine and a gradual sunrise morning alarm would change things for the better! I love being able to change my settings as many times as I want, and I really do look forward to my pre-sleep meditations and ocean sounds when I’m ptfo.
Cons—not a huge deal, but I wish that they stayed consistent with meditations and episodes(adding more). My meditations and micro learning series only have 10 or so and once you go through them they just keep repeating. I also wish they had more to choose from—doesn’t seem like they update it enough, especially with the monthly fee.
