Requiring a monthly subscription for use of an alarm clock is unnecessary. The light itself doesn’t fill the room like the gentle morning sun - instead it looks as if the Weasley's have arrived in their flying car to come pick you up, and they’ve pointed their headlights directly into your room.

Love the alarm clock. . . . subscription fee, not so much

We start the day off on the right side of the bed with the soothing sounds of the Hatch, however the subscription fee reverses any good that done.

I use my hatch every night it truly does help me get quality sleep and relaxes me before bed with my wind down routine. . I wake up to birds chirping it’s so peaceful. I don’t know how was I sleeping before. . it is pricey but worth every penny 10/10 recommend

Can’t use on community WiFi

My daughter in a sorority house isn’t able to use this because it can’t use community WiFi, so it’s been useless to her this year.

App is buggy

When I ordered it, I was excited and truly thought I would give it 5 stars. I was ok that it was a lot more expensive than its competitor. But it turns out that the Hatch is so slow to respond to the app, which often crashes that it’s frustrating and causes me to only use the white noise and alarm functions (no routines).
I love all the white noise and alarm sounds and light options, but the speaker sounds blown. The sound quality is bad.
I was so excited about the Hatch and thought I might even subscribe, but the basic functions have been too disappointing.

I absolutely loved the first hatch product I had, the music selection was perfect and I had a great playlist that helped me fall asleep. With a new product, the hatch too, the music selection is different and limited. It’s a little disappointing. They have expanded a lot of of talking content, so if you enjoy voices in the background, when you sleep, you would love the change. If you prefer music or nature sounds, it is a bit more limited.
