Changed my life

I bought one of these for each of my four adult children four or five Christmases ago. One of my children declined it (he often makes me return gifts) and I decided to keep it for myself. I was under a lot of pressure in my career working two jobs and having to be up early each morning. I was using my phone alarm and it was jarring and made me feel resentful each morning. I was having trouble sleeping as well at the time tossing and turning for hours. The Hatch woke me up gently without me even realizing it with the soft light for a half hour and then the most beautiful wood pipe. At night it told me stories that helped me fall asleep. I ordered the subscription for the stories and they got me through months of intense pressure. This past Christmas my son asked me for the Hatch back. I of course refused as it is now a treasured friend. I bought him a new one and he has happily joined the family as a Hatch owner. I can’t recommend this enough for anyone who has been rudely and unceremoniously startled out of their sleep and thought that was just the way adults are supposed to start their days.

The light which mimicks a

The light which mimicks a sunrise seems to be key to waking in a much better way than traditional alarms. Since using Hatch I have been able to get up and out of bed easier and more consistently.
We have enjoyed the night time routine as well. Still working out what best suits us but enjoy the sounds and some of the sleep stories.

Not what I expected

Admittedly I may not have done enough research on the product before purchasing and had assumed it functioned like the Hatch Rest+. I hoped the time would always be on display and I could simply turn on a noise with a press of a button. Overall it’s a bit more complicated than what I personally need and being a busy parent have not had sufficient time to play around with the settings to figure out all the functions and personal preferences.
