Very disappointed in features after

Very disappointed in features after having original restore. I liked being able to set different times for lights vs sounds. But on this new version, the timer is the same for both. And also have to pay for a subscription to use all features. A bummer. Wish they would have fixed the sound on my original restore, as the settings and options were better. The restore 2 is prettier, but that’s it.

There isn't much of a free selection, and you have to pay for what isn't fair to me. , calm and other apps you pay and you don't have to buy the device.

Paying for the app doesn’t

Paying for the app doesn’t seem to be necessary as there isn’t really anything special about it and there isn’t a tone of choices. Some of the sounds seem artificial and fake.
Is a much more gentle way to wake up but I still also have to set a back up alarm on my phone

I really like the ocean sounds at night and the singing bowls in the morning. It's so nice to wake up to. The lighting options are also really pretty and there's a ton of different colors ranging from vibey reds to soft yellows and whites. The buttons are definitely improved over the last Hatch, but it's still a bit confusing how to adjust volume and lighting on the device itself. You have to remember what parts of the clock to touch in order to do different things. I wish it was a bit more straightforward. But, you can always use the app to adjust as well.

The unwind routine is great— add stretching in while playing it for 15 minutes, and you’re set for deep relaxation. Sleep uninterrupted with the river sound! Love waking up to light and soft sound vs crazy alarm sounds. The “morning moment” is a nice touch to starting my day off as well.

Best investment for a nurse!

I’m a registered nurse and have been transitioning from dayshift to night shift. What a blessing this has been to introduce a sunset and sunrise into my “blacked out” bedroom! It makes the transition to my nights working on and off seamless and has created a routine for me that works - I use the mediation before bed to wind down and the white noise to stay asleep. I love the sound of birds and motivational wake up speech to get me going for a 12 hour shift! Best investment - I highly recommend for any nurse!

Though I was really on the fence about the cost of this purchase, I'm really glad I got it. It is really helping my evening sleep routine. I think I need more time before the morning part really helps - it's OK, but not as good as I hoped it to be. It might be a learning curve. But for me, the evening part is worth it.
