Worth every penny!!

I couldn’t be happier with my Hatch restore alarm clock. I look forward to my crimes for bed wind down story every single night, even on weekends and the sunrise alarm is a game changer in my morning routine! I tell everyone about my Hatch!!

Not customizable enough

It's a good looking product and should be for its cost but the fact that you can't customize something as simple as the snooze intervals is frustrating. I could have saved the money and bought a noise machine as I only use this for some rain noise while sleeping.

I got my hatch when I lived in a room with no windows and now sunlight. Now I have windows and I still use my hatch every single day. It helps wake me up so gently, so calmly, and really makes a better and more relaxed morning routine for me.

Broken cord

Want a refund and a new hatch as the cord is unstable and sometimes goes off middle of night and I don’t have a alarm to wake up to, has made me late to work countless times so I gave up.

Great! Best option on the market

This device is one of the best, if not *the* best alarm clocks of this caliber on the market. . . That's because it's multifunctional! Does it wake me up? Yes, and it does so very softly rather than starkly, thanks to the sunrise settings and sound options. But it also plays a key role in my winding down for the evening. As soon as I hear the sound of rain (part of my "Sleep" cycle), I almost immediately can shut my eyes and drift off to sleep, reminiscent of "Pavlov's dog".
I will say, though, the downside are the buttons.
I did notice the Restore 3 has knobs, which to me look stubby and antler-like, taking away from the Restore's initially sleek appearance.
I don't mind the buttons on the Restore 2, I just wish it didn't have that weird eyelid engraved into it. . . it just cheapens, it. . . and this isn't cheap!
I think it's fairly easy to navigate that the right button is for the alarm function and the left is for the wind-down function. . . we don't need an eye lid to show us that ("I always feel like. . . somebody's watching me!")
Anyway, I appreciate the colors, the linen-like front, and how it can easily blend in with any decor. Not only is it stylish, but it is effective.
The app, of course, is a must. . . I would otherwise say it is not worth the investment if you do not spend the additional moolah on the full version of the app to get as many options as possible.
Furthermore, the updated sounds should also be uploaded to older devices - why are cellphones able to be updated to the latest programming but Hatch Restore clocks aren't? I have an OG Restore at my parents' home, but find it lackluster because I don't have nearly as many sound options as the Restore 2.
Anyway, I highly recommend the product regardless of any shortcomings. My mornings are SIGNIFICANTLY more pleasant, and the night time routine has been a saving grace.

The Subscription Service Not User Friendly

The search bar for the Subscription Service isn't user friendly. It's difficult to browse. Hatch claims to have a lot of options with the subscription but barely shows you any, and make it difficult to explore more options. I feel like there's so much I'm missing out on but don't know how else to use it.

I bought the Hatch as a gift for my husband, thinking he would appreciate it. Turns out he loves it! Uses each night to fall asleep and wake up. Huge hit!
