Expensive Clock with subscription?

Why is there a subscription for the clock I bought? The clock was already expensive and now i have to pay monthly to use all the features that already baked into the product? Thats an insane amount of greed.

It's okay. The buttons aren't great. Alarm off (long press) and snooze (short press) don't always do what they are suppose to. The app is cumbersome. I ended up not using the app.

Seemed too good to be true, and I think it was. It seems like it would be great, but having to pay for the library…. Which isn’t near as expansive as I thought. . while already paying a high price for the alarm doesn’t seem right. I would like more options for the morning routine as well, for example morning meditations or quick gratitude practices to add to your morning routine. There should also def be a button to turn off the light, because some night, it’s just too much, and needing to use the app to turn it off kind of takes away from the whole point. This product is a good start, but yall have a ways to go.

I will never use another alarm clock.

I got my Hatch over a month ago and have yet to hear the alarm sound. I wake up with the light before it goes off. No more jarring annoying alarm sound for me. I love the wind down feature for the evening and all the different options and sounds. Best purchase ever!!

High priced and sometimes difficult to operate and change alarms. Don't like how operation is all by phone and app.
