Restore 2 is great. It's easy and intuitive to use, looks good on the night stand, and most importantly helps us sleep like a dream. The Stormy Sea soundscape is my go-to.

Too much

All I want is a clock that has an alarm and that doesn’t have a persistent light that is on all night. The goal was to leave my phone in room other than the bedroom. With the Hatch, I am still having to consult my phone for set the alarm for the next morning. This would not be such a problem if the app was not so busy and confusing. I don’t want the “falling asleep” music or meditations. All I want is an alarm with the mellow means to wake me up.
I like that I have a nice alarm in the morning and I like that all I have to do is tap the Hatch in order to see the time.

I tried Loftie first, and while I enjoyed it, Hatch offered me a morning routine, which I needed. I love Hatch's lighting and the possibility of switching up sounds, lights, etc. I especially love smooth morning wake-ups. I have gotten up on time 95% of the time since I got Hatch, and I could not say that when I was using my cell phone alarm.

I got this as a gift and I was honestly unsure if I would use it or even like it but it makes me sleep so much better. The quality of sleep is unmatched when this thing is on. You have to find your right sound and volume but once you do it is life-changing.

App is a bit wonky to use

The actual unit is beautifully designed. However, the app isn't quite as intuitive as one would hope. It would also be nice if there was more variety of soundscapes.

Not worth the cost

I've had my Hatch Restore 2 for 6 months. Overall, it's an alarm clock. I have found no noticeable difference in my sleep. Without Hatch+ you have about 6 sounds to choose from. Paying a continuous subscription fee will get you some additional choices to add to your routine.The light is nice but limited in the settings. The app is god awful. Super clunky and difficult to make the changes you need efficiently. Overall, I wouldn't purchase again or recommend.
