Fatal Flaw

The tiny yellow plug that seals the power port loses its mooring post. The plug is then detached completely from the case when removed to charge the AirPods making it prone to inconvenience and loss.

Terrible quality. Useless within a month despite excess caution. AVOID

First, let me say that this case was treated like gold. It broke with gentle use. I expect some measure of quality from Pelican and am incredibly disappointed.
The plastic on this case is incredibly hard and the silicone piece covering the charging port is flimsy, at best. Despite being treated with great caution each time it was used, the silicone piece fell off for no apparent reason. Then, this morning when I went to open the case, the pivotal piece required to lock the case fell off.
One couldn't possibly have babied this supposedly rugged case more. You really shouldn't have to do that.

Broke the clasp after 2 months

Clasp is now broken, and the case will not stay shut. In addition the waterproof charging plug came out.

Manufacturing flaw!

While this would be an otherwise great case, the whole idea of “security “ is the unit remaining securely shut. That being said, with normal usage I have noted that the receiving “lip” for the locking clasp has buckled under usage and cracked. This has forced me to apply adhesive to hold it, to no avail. I would like to believe this might happen after a couple of years but this has been less than 2 year.

Best case for Air Pods Pro made!

I looked and read reviews and this is the ONLY case that includes a hinges lid, positive latch system and is waterproof. Lots of other cases were out there, but this one looked to be the best that I could find.
