Easy to install and makes dog potty breaks a breeze

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After researching and reading reviews for various smart pet doors, I decided to purchase the PetSafe® SmartDoor™ Connected Pet Door, Large for use with our rescue dog. I really liked how this smart pet door looked, and that it never rusts and can e controlled with the My PetSafe App, so it could be accessed at home, at the office, or away from home. The PetSafe® SmartDoor™ Connected Pet Door, Large comes with one pet door key, and requires 4-D cel batteries. Installation is easy to do and includes access to a video that will help guide your installation with proper measuring, training resources, and step by step installation of this pet door. This past weekend I installed this pet door for our dog, and had it worked in under a couple hours. It did take some getting used to with our dog, but come Monday morning, she was standing at the door waiting for the pet door to open for her to run out into the backyard to do her business, and come back in.
I really like the convenience of this smart pet door, as I don't have to get up all the time just to let her out back. She will bark at the door letting us know she has to go out, and I can open the door remotely through the My PetSafe app on my phone. I can even set up daily schedules through the app, which comes in very handy when our dog is ready to go out at 6AM and I either getting in/out of the shower, and not needing to run downstairs to let her in and out.
Even though this pet door is installed for our dog, I am finding that our cat is even enjoying run out in the backyard to join her furry sister for some fun and sun.
If you are looking for an easy to install smart pet door, I highly recommend you check out the PetSafe® SmartDoor™ Connected Pet Door, Large. It was a smart investment for us, and one that the dog and our family are benefiting from, as it makes letting the dog out so much easier.

Great doggie door

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a huge upgrade from my old dog door. I love the smart features and the ability to connect to wifi. I also like the ability to lock the door.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have two 40lb or so dogs and this work well. The door is responsive to the tag and opens well. It took a little bit for the dogs to get use to it. This is more of a walk through door as it won’t respond quickly enough for a running start and jump through haha. Installation was not too bad if you have sown basic tools then you will be all set.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I absolutely love this product! It makes life so much easier when it comes to making sure our four baby has the (controlled) independence to use the backyard as necessary. It works flawlessly and he has already figured out how to get in and out (using the remote on his collar).
The installation requires some DIY skills, but the video and written instructions are very helpful and thorough.
I highly recommend this product!

Great for busy families

I love that I can lock the door when it’s raining and that the keys prevent random animals from entering. Very easy to install!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my nephew for his new home. He has an adorable 20lbs miniature schnauzer. Instalation was nothing short of a hassle only for it to last a couple of weeks. I could not believe that the door is that easy for such a tiny dog to break through. Needless to say, now my nephew is on the hunt to find a morecquality replacement that will fit. I cannot recall this product.

Smart and Safe Pet Door

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't very keen on installing a pet door to let our dogs out into our fenced yard. I don't like the idea of having an easy access into my home.
But this door was intriguing to secure the flap and only allow our dogs to use it.
My big dog (60 lbs) is easier to train and we start with her to use the door. the little dog (25 lbs) is afraid of it, but after watching his sister use it he should be fine with it. I do need to purchase an extra key for his collar then.
Really cool product, looks good, works very well.
We had a super storm a few days ago with horizontal rain. my porch was soaked, but no water came in through the door!
I felt comfortable installing it in my wooden door. A great doggy door!
