Perfect for your Pet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pet door resolved all my questions about adding a pet door. It is smart and only lets my pet in, no stray animals or anything. It also is programmable so my dog can’t go in and out all the time. This is great on rain days so I can make sure I’m there to wipe paws. This is seriously everything I ever wanted for a pet door. I highly recommend!!!

Dogs love their new freedom

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This SmartDoor works great and is easy to install. The dogs love their new freedom and I love how it's a cool new tech toy. The door looks great and is functioning great. Large enough for both of my pups.

Works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This door is great for a dog that wants to go out whenever they want. Installation wasn’t terrible and it looks nice. I love that my dog can go out even when I’m not home. Would recommend to anyone looking for a doggie door.

Convenient!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have two dogs which means double the time spent opening the back door. This dog door is wonderful. The installation is very tricky and I definitely recommend having someone familiar with power tools do it. But now that it’s done, it’s a game changer. Totally worth it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is what every pet owner has been wanting forever. The pet can open the door by itself, if you give it permission. Fantastic idea and I can’t believe it took until 2023 for this to happen.

Pretty great door

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation was easy. The cat doesn't seem to mind it either. This door has a lot of bells and whistles. It connected to my wifi without and issues, and it's nice being able to monitor/control the door through the app.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very cool pet door!

We only have 1 dog, a Dachshund that's a mix of standard and mini so she's about 30 pounds, a chonky girl but she fits through this medium door with ease. Installing it was relatively easy, but you do need to have some tools, most things you may already have at home but you also need a jigsaw and a drill. Our door is all wood so this kit was all we needed, nothing more to buy. If you have a metal or glass door you'll have to buy the adapter kit. This kit came with 1 dog tag "key", we only have 1 dog at this time so that's all we need but you can purchase more tags separately if you need more. We had no trouble pairing the tag with the pet door, and our dog took to it very quickly. She has used a pet door in the past though. We used treats to get her to walk through it for the first day and she got used to having it on the door real quick. It's not very noisy, it doesn't or frighten her, the weight of the flap doesn't bother her at all. She zooms right though it. She LOVES the freedom to go out anytime she wants, whether I feel like it or not. I love that I can lock it when I need to to keep her inside during storms or holidays where there will be fireworks. And I can lock it remotely from my phone, I love that. You need a 2.4 ghz router for this to connect to. We have a dual band router but connected it to the 2.4 ghz band and it has no trouble staying connected to wifi. This medium door uses 4 C batteries. You CAN plug it into your wall socket, but they do not include the wall plug, you will have to buy that separately. We like the batteries. There will be a very thorough installation and use guide included, a wall mount template to tell you where to drill and cut, and a training guide that goes over how to acclimate your pet to the door. We have had a very smooth, pleasant experience with this connected pet door so far, no complaints! We definitely recommend it.

Great door for our cats!

Our cats like their freedom and we don’t like to open the door every 2 minutes haha so this was perfect for us! One of our favorite features is the possibility to lock and unlock the door with our phones and the notifications every time they go in and out. It comes with a key and the door only opens when it detects the key.
We followed the instructions to install and it was very smooth and it helped so much. It takes some skills but after watching the video and reading the instructions well, it should be an easy process.
I also love how nice and aesthetically pleasing the door is which would match pretty much any decor you have in your house.
I’d definitely recommend this product. Great investment and your pets will love their freedom.
