Mika is a great idea, but is probably early on its design trajectory. I hope they can fix the hardware issues plaguing my temp sensors. The temp reads 6 degrees higher than room temp, and the RH is reading lower than actual. This indicates excessive heat within the unit, and support has only offered to apply a software patch instead of repairing the unit. Temp sensors don’t lie, something is up.

It's an excellent machine, compared to other filters I've had this one actually feels like it's doing something...and it let's you know! It has useful tech, not just fancy features for the sake of saying it has features.

Mila told me there was a danger of mold so I got a dehumidifier and can’t believe how much water it collects.

When we told our roommate Siri that we’d be inviting someone new named Mila to live with us, she balked indignantly, saying “I don’t know how to respond to that.” While the two still don’t speak to each other, they co-exist congenially, with Mila doing some chores that Siri was previously incapable of doing, leading to a cleaner, healthier household for us all. I still hold out hope that they’ll grow to be friends, chattering away to each other, but otherwise, Mila has been a welcome addition to our group!

I feel as though I've noticed a positive difference in my air quality, but the app is a bit of a pain point. I hope that the Mila team is proactive in listening to customer reviews and continues to refine their product. I don't believe that much needs doing; it is a visually nice app and I really want to like it, however I think that some aspects can certainly be polished to provide a smoother user experience.
