Tv slow and freezes. Only 4 days old

The picture is great but the tv itself is very slow and laggy and it freezes a lot when trying to open up steaming services
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

1. Check for firmware updates – Keeping your TV up to date can resolve many performance issues: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now 2. Run Device Care – This tool checks system memory, frees up cached data, and closes background apps that could be slowing things down: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care 3. Cold boot your TV – With the TV powered on, press and hold the Power button on your remote for 5+ seconds until the TV restarts. This helps refresh the system.

Good features but hard to navigate

Thank you for your review. Anynet+ controls external devices that are connected to the TV via an HDMI cable and will turn on/off when you turn the TV on/off. If you don’t want externally connected devices to turn on/off when you turn your TV on/off, please make sure Anynet+ is disabled. To turn off Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC), go to: Settings > All Settings > Connection > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) = OFF.

Best picture quality of any TV I've owned

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the last four sets of TVs I've bought Samsung. I haven't had a bad experience yet, and that continues with this set. The picture quality is the best I've ever owned. This replaced a 7 year old LED model and there are several noticeable improvements. 1. The user interface is much quicker 2. There are plenty of HDMI inputs 3. Significantly thinner display AND bezels are tiny
I already had a Samsung account which enabled me to go from a box on my porch to watching streaming video in about 15 minutes. This impressed me.
Really the only negative I've experienced is with the remote. My previous 3 Samsung sets have had RF remotes and this one is only IR. You don't realize how annoying that line of sight limitation can be when you are used to the radio based remotes. This was an even bigger disappointment since this is, in my opinion, a premium set where some of my others were not.
I would still recommend this to others as it is a great set.

And the Solar-powered remote for an eco-friendly, minimalist experience
I also love that it has Live translate, click-to-search recommendations, SmartThings, voice assistants, access to free content with Samsung TV Plus, cloud gaming hub, 7‑year OS updates with Samsung Vision AI, and 2025 One UI Tizen OS

Samsung is the best connect to my phone perfectly
