Top Notch TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first saw this tv at a store and it caught my eye. So I decided to buy it online and after I go it set in my bedroom I fell in love with it. The clarity and smoothness of the picture took me to another dimension like I was right there in person in the show. The tv has a lot of seasons that you can set/select your preferences. I also recommend that you hook up a sound bar which will make you feel you’re in a theater. My last words would be if you’re in the market for a new tv then this would be the one to get.

OLED is the perfect TV for all

I have realized that having a large TV at a great value does not mean the best resolution, speed, or colors. This time I really focused on purchasing the best TV out there and found myself in love with the OLEDs. After some time looking, we jumped into our purchase of our new OLED.

Great picture, bad OS and annoying pop-ups

Overall the picture is top quality. The matte screen is awesome in my living room with tons of natural light.
Unfortunately I don't care much for the AI features. Tends to make the picture look a little too extreme and overprocessed.
Also the built in operating system isn't very good. I especially dislike the fact that it will force intrusive pop-up ads for the AI features that cover the screen even when using another source at least once per day.

Thank you for sharing your feedback on the picture quality of your Samsung S95F TV. AI Mode is designed to adapt your TV’s image based on ambient lighting, content type, and your personal viewing habits.

To adjust these features, navigate to: Settings > All Settings > Advanced Features > AI Mode Settings > AI Mode

If the image isn’t meeting your expectations, we recommend adjusting AI features that can help with picture quality:
• Adaptive Picture > AI Optimized: Automatically adjusts picture settings based on lighting and what you're watching.
• EyeComfort Mode: Reduces brightness and adds warmer tones based on time of day and room lighting.
• AI Customization Mode: Allows the TV to recognize content types (like sports or movies) and apply your preferred picture settings for each.

If you prefer to disable AI Mode, there are additional adjustments you can make to improve your viewing experience.

You can select a Picture Mode that best fits your environment: Home > Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
1. Standard – Default mode for general viewing

Best TV as a PC monitor I've owned so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm exclusively using the S95F as a monitor for my PC, and it's definitely the best I've owned so far thanks to the 165 Hz mode and overall amazing OLED display.
I was a bit worried about the One Connect Box going in, since users had reported signal dropouts and other issues with past models, but I'm happy to say that it has been working almost flawlessly for me. There was some minor flicker after setting 165 Hz and enabling G-Sync for the first time, but that only lasted a minute and has not shown up in use anymore—and could also just be a firmware thing and not related to the box at all.
I was between this TV and the very comparable LG G5 and read some reviews and online posts about both TVs. I often heard reviewers talk negatively about the matte coating, as it's supposed to raise blacks when light hits the display and allegedly affects clarity in general. Granted I'm using the display in a darker room without any light shining on it directly, I have found ZERO difference between the matte coating and the various glossy displays I used before.
To be fair, had the 55" LG G5 been available at the time, I would've probably gone with that to avoid the perceived risk with the OCB, but after having the S95F on my desk for almost a month now I think the Samsung was the better choice for my use case.

Poor control of sound channels

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The advertising sounds incredible but my Samsung S95F does not allow adjusting the sound levels as advertised. I have not been able to enhance dialog by raising center channel. I have not been able to decrease background music/ sound effects by lowering side channels. The user guide is 257 pts, but many sections say May Noy be Available in US or Canada. One month old TV has different menus than the UserGuide. Settings have changed names or no longer available. U tube videos are out of date as well. I also purchased a Samsung sound bar. This only makes it worse. I have not been able to change individual channel levels through the sound bar. The “ automatic” features seem to focus on sound effects being as loud as possible. I would not recommend these if you need to adjust particular settings.
