Ok appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only owned the range/oven for a week now. First impression was that it looked nice, however within the first week I’ve already found that the glass scratches much easier than my previous Whirlpool which only lasted 10 years before crapping out. The air fryer oven is not very fast and it’s probably quicker to use our countertop air fryer. I will say the stove elements do seem to heat faster than my previous stove and I’m still getting use to the temp difference between the amount of dial turn I give it compared to the previous stove. All in all to be as expensive as it was, it’s not really a game changer. The “wipe clean coating” doesn’t really wipe clean easily either. Again comparing it to a glass top stove that was 10 years older that cleaned way easier. All in all I own it now and it will cook food, albeit with a little more effort for clean up, so I guess it works fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the Air Fryer

Beauty without substance

I have owned this range for six months and wanted to wait to review until I adjusted to the new range. Although I love the look of this range the functionality is below par. Only one of the burners will hard boil water. I did have a service technician out and was told I would need to use a lid to boil water on any other burner. This is due to the larger burner pulling more power than the other three burners. On any other range (with an electric glass cook top) that I have owned I have been able to boil water without the need of a lid. I also have an issue when I bake food in the oven. The left-hand side is cooking faster than the right-hand side. I was told that after the oven preheats, I should wait another 30 minutes before placing food in the oven to allow the temperature to stabilize. I do like the many functions available for baking, including a proof option. As many others have noted the wipe clean technology does not really work. I have owned several Whirlpool products and replaced my dishwasher, refrigerator and range with Whirlpool products. I love the dishwasher and refrigerator, but the range is a big swing and a miss for me. I will likely take a hit but will be replacing the range soon. For me the everyday functionality just isn’t there.

Still getting used to our range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall good. I like the display panel and appreciate all of the features. The downside is how difficult it is to keep the cooking surface clean. Plain water as directed is not sufficient and keeping it streak free is nearly impossible. We had and incident when air reheating fish & chips and didn’t put something under the basket. I feel that a steam clean, regular clean, soak for 12 hrs with vinegar water, another regular clean is a bit excessive to get the baked on spill to be cleaned.

It’s Okay

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The top is very hard to keep clean and shiny. I cover it with water as per the instructions and then wipe it off. Then I havre to rewipe any spots. Finally, I have to polish it with a dish cloth. The burners take a long time to heat up and my cooking times are increased. Otherwise, I like it.

Be aware after using self cleaning cycle

I purchased (ordered) this range 11/23/25, picked it up and installed it 12/6/25 On 2/4/26 I ran a short self clean cycle in the oven, now my oven doesn't work. I have called Whirlpool 6 times now with no results, all technicians they "schedule the work order with" reject it because of the distance to where I live and to their repair area. So make sure there is a technician in your area that will service your appliance before your buy this range. One Technician told me that he has repaired 3 ranges exactly like mine with the exact same issue.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Still learning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was rather difficult to learn how to operate. Timer bell isn't very loud. Still haven't learned how to operate air fryer. Directions aren't clear. Have had this oven installed since September and had to replace the oven bulb.

Pleased with my purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this range for about a month and it works fine. The burners seem to heat accurately (my previous range ran hot) I am a confirmed glass top cook because of the ease of cleaning. There are features that I probably would never use like the air fry setting, the wi-fi (what is this really for) and the automatic oven light. I see the no edge top as problematic since something is bound to spill. I do like the proof setting since I am a bread baker. Keep warm on the range top and in the oven are convenient. The front knobs are nice, something I never had before; since I have no children in my home, it is not a safety issue. I didn't realize the oven was larger so the storage drawer is shallower. Overall I am pleased with the range.
