Can’t peel off protective coating

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall of course, the stove is great. But we are still scraping off the protective coating you put around the front top edge and dials two weeks later and will probably need another two weeks to complete. All other protective areas with film peeled off fine. Only the dial area has required us to use a “spudger” to painstakingly chip away the coating.
I would recommend this to a friend!

notification oven is on, its turned off several times and i had no indication it was off until i checked on the food. turkey was “cooking” for 3 hours before i realized the oven was off

Extremely disappointed in this purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am completely unhappy with this Range. If there was any possibility of returning it, I would. The reason: the entire panel of "functions" across the rear panel of the Range DO NOT LIGHT UP. The very small, white text is VERY difficult to read in the late afternoon and nearly impossible to read in the evening. The text is "fairly" readable during the bright daylight hours. But using this Range is beyond disappointing in the late afternoon and evening. I literally now keep a small flashlight on the kitchen counter :( It is ridiculous that this Range was designed with function icons that don't light up. Every single day as the sun begins to set...I dread using this new Range.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this over a month ago. Wish there was a paper copy of the manual guidance for the oven. Have to experience to see if I should be air frying or air roasting. When the range came into my home it took hours trying to peel off the protective blue plastic that came off in tiny little pieces. Now the stainless steal is all scratched up. Not happy with the finish on the range at all. For that reason I might not buy another Whirlpool range again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Happy with our new gas range

Purchased 12/04/24. Love having a gas stove again (after 35 years of electric).
(1) Do not appreciate the alarm sounds (timer, preheat done, etc.). Volume is set to "MAX", but 12 feet away I cannot hear them! Some sort of soft "chimes" or "bells" sound. Very faint. Useless.
(2) There is a "lock" feature, but only for the electronics regarding turning the oven on. No "lock" for the stovetop burners! I have small grandkids, so this is a real safety concern.
(3) There was an 8-1/2x11 printed document telling me I was getting a *free* griddle that comes with the oven... all I had to do was register my oven with Whirlpool, and I would receive an email with instructions on how to get my griddle. I registered, but got no email about a free griddle. Sent an email to Whirlpool about it. Haven't received any response. Why send out the "free griddle" document in the first place???
(4) The Whirlpool app will not work with my iPhone 14 Pro Max. The stove says it's connected to my WiFi, but the app can't find it, even though my phone is connected to the same WiFi. I have deleted & re-downloaded the app, disconnected & re-connected the stove, at least 3 times... app first, then stove... stove first, then app... still won't work. Useless.
I must say I am disappointed in the gas stove for items (1) and (2). I am disappointed with Whirlpool in general for items (3) and (4).
