I am SO impressed with the L'OR coffee system and feel like I'm in a coffee shop every morning - the aroma! The quality of the coffee capsules is over the top. No matter what blend I choose, it's delicious to the bottom of the cup. If you want outstanding coffee at home, the L'OR system delivers.

I'm very happy with my purchase. The machine (and espresso/coffee it makes) is superb. Additionally, the 100% aluminum pods and recycling program are really great and a step towards sustainability. Be sure to order your free recycling kit when purchasing coffee from the L'OR website!

This is an excellent system, however, it’s just not very hot. From brand new it just didn’t generate hot coffee. Don’t get me wrong, the coffee and espresso generates deliciousness. So far each flavor has been excellent. The maker is well-made, but just not hot enough.

I am extremely pleased with the L'OR Barista. I was always interested in this type of system but most expresso systems are limited to only expresso type servings and was generally not impressed with quality of coffee that I would get from most pod type brewing systems. They offer convenience but the taste was just not up to a good pour-over coffee or coffee shop expresso. When I investigated the Barista, I was excite to see that it could run both espresso and coffee, both at high water temperature and high-pressure.
I am extremely pleased with the quality of the everything I have tried so far. The espresso is as good as I have had in some of my favorite coffee houses and all coffees I have tried have been smooth and flavorful without a trace of bitterness. I especially like the Peets Medium roast. Even the decaf has great flavor without bitterness.
The system is well built and the assembly was very simple. It has great lines and looks great sitting on the counter. I like the fact that they have a recycling program with free shipping. So far, I have not run into any negatives. I will other appliances I owned were designed and build so well. Nice job Phillips.
