I use the L’Or strictly for espresso and compare it to many years of using an inissia espresso maker. I have been purchasing an inissia machine every year or 2 for about 10 years, replacing when water leaks develop. My last inissia lasted only 8 months so I decided to try L’Or. 4 star rating is due to; 1 L’or espresso is good but not quite as strong as inissia espresso. 2 L’Or machine is large and takes a lot of counter space. 3 machine is very tall and needs to be moved to edge of counter so top clears cabinets when inserting a pod. Time will tell if it lasts longer than inissia espresso maker.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Got this for my husband for Christmas because we leave at separate times and he was drinking reheated coffee. We have made the 12 cups of coffee, great coffee house flavor, crema gives a rich feel, takes about 2.5 minutes to brew, is pretty loud if you are trying not to wake someone up in a smaller space, hoping maybe for cocoa or chai options in the future but the coffee is great!
Had a nespresso machine for years before trying this one. I only use the original size so I can't comment the big pods. Same as nespresso, bigger in size, good product overall.
Mostly happy. I like the idea of it being easier than brewing with a standard coffee maker. I’m surprised it takes so long to brew a cup. It takes just over two minutes to brew a large cup. The one thing that frustrates me is that occasionally the pods do not drop down and they get stuck and I have to take a little tool and fiddle around to get it pushed down so I can release the top where you put the pods in.
I really like the convenience. The machine makes beautiful crema. Having 2 capsule sizes is wonderful, so I really have choices. I do wish there are dark decaf coffee capsules available instead of medium roast, I prefer dark roast. Give me that and I’ll give you 5 stars instead of 4.
