Works well. Water heats up quickly. I'm not crazy about the coffee pods though. I would love to have a refillable pod that I can use with my own coffee.

This is so easy to set up and use, even I could do it! When the coffee is being prepared, it smells so good! But the best part is the flavor. I'm very happy with this purchase. I'd do it again in a heartbeat!

Well made, very good brews, large but not huge

I purchased this system after my DeLonghi Essenza Mini started leaking after nearly 3 years of heavy use. It's a larger footprint than the Essenza, about twice as high and twice as wide, and a little deeper. But still fits on the counter fine. Excellent results with the L'Or proprietary larger coffee capsules, and very good with the nespresso original capsules. Sturdy construction, easy & accurate controls.

I was looking for a machine that could do both espresso and coffee, and that looked nice on my counter. I found it! This system is great for daily use. The coffee is 10x better than from a drip machine and much faster than a pour over. Would recommend!

This is by far the best coffee machine I have ever had the pleasure of using, let alone owning. The L'OR Barista Artisan Coffee & Espresso System is not only a beautiful addition to my kitchen, but it also brews a seriously smooth and unbelievably quick, authentic individual cup of coffee or espresso. It seems like you flew straight to France to get it! The machine heats water in 25 seconds, then uses 19 bars of pressure to create the perfect crema on every single cup. It uses Dual Capsule Recognition Technology to differentiate whether to brew espresso or coffee by size.
The delicious flavors L'or Barista offers will have you making coffee and espresso for everyone who enters your home, and it is as easy as pressing a button. There are only four: power, small, medium, and large. You simply turn the machine on, insert your choice of L'OR Barista capsule, and insert it in the upper compartment that automatically dispenses the old capsule into a bin below so you can capture them for recycling! Next, you press the size of coffee or espresso you want, and it's brewed to perfection a minute or two later! There is a lift that you can easily slide in to hold your espresso cup closer to the two nozzles that dispense your coffee bean magic. Small makes a five-ounce cup of coffee or 1.4-ounce espresso, medium makes an eight-ounce cup of coffee and 2.7-ounce cup of espresso, and large makes a 12-ounce cup of coffee or 3.7-ounce espresso.
What I find the best about the L'OR Barista system is that the box it comes in is made with 100 percent recycled cardboard. The French craftsmanship of this miraculous at-home brewing system and the capsules they use are entirely made in factories that use 100 percent renewable energy in production and are carbon neutral. You also easily order free containers to ship the capsules to be recycled when you are through using them!

Like this machine new slick had the Nespresso decided to give this one a try. Like that it's bigger and holds more water without constantly having to fill it. Has 3 coffee options instead of two on the Nespresso one.
