I've had my Lor Barista coffee machine for about 2 weeks now & I love love love it! I add different flavors of coffee creamers like Pumpkin Spice, Cinnamon Roll, Peppermint Mocha to my espresso or sometimes add a coffee & it is so delicious! Really love the crema it forms. I highly recommend this machine & look forward to my coffee every morning. Also looking forward to trying the different recipes that they send to me! I would give it 10 stars if I could!!

Thie gem has enhanced my life immensely. No more laborious prep to make coffee the night before when I'm tired and I want to go to bed. I get primo coffee almost instantly after I wake up. Later in the day when I need a pick-me-up I'll have an expresso that does the job perfectly. THANK YOU L'OR!

It took me a little trial and error to get my "recipes" right. The machine lets you pick among three volumes, so for each coffee and espresso capsule I've experimented with the sizes as well as additions (none, spash of half and half, etc.) to find what I like best. The taste and texture of both espressos and coffees is impressive. Don't even think about comparing this to the machine that begins with "K". I did that back to back, using a K cup that was the best of the ones I had on hand. And I can honestly say after tasting coffee from the L'OR, I nearly had to spit out the coffee from the K. I had no idea all this time it was so bad, I just knew I wasn't enjoying it. I also compared the L'OR coffee to a good drip machine, and while the drip machine produced a nice tasting coffee (if using good quality grounds), after 45 minutes or so on the burner the coffee in the pot loses its aroma and starts to develop a cooked/burnt taste. Also, I love the convenience of a pod/capsule machine. I only drink about 2 cups a day so I'll pay for the convenience factor. One more note, I ordered another round of capsules directly from L'OR. The shipment was not 100% correct, looks like the picker accidentally picked the wrong box for one of my line items. I contacted L'OR using the online contact form and in less than one hour they notified me that a shipment was being processed to get me the correct coffee. So in closing, I'm impressed with the machine, the coffee, and the company! And no, I received no compensation or consideration for submitting this review.

We LOVE our new L'Or!!! I thought we were just going to use it for espresso/cappucino and continue to use our pour over for morning coffee but we are using it exclusively for all of our coffee needs. The coffees are delicious from light to dark blends. We also purchased the frother and although at first I thought it was expensive, I am SO GLAD we bought it. It makes all the difference to have warmed milk and of course frothed milk for my latte. I will also point out the ease of use and the fact you can recycle the aluminum pods!

The mechanics of the Barista is great. I like the large water container and the large volume for the spent pods. The espresso is great as it is in my vintage Nespresso machine but the coffee was a not what I expected. I have been grinding beans most mornings for a cup or two of black, strong coffee. Barista pods produce a cup with a crema that is more like a medium strength coffee with milk or a large espesso. More of a French style .Not my favorite. The customer service rep (Leslie) could not have been more understanding and helpful. I will stay the L'Or espresso and order more Onyx pods!
