I am not happy with this at all, in fact I stopped using it within a few days. I like to control the amount of hot water I get because sometimes I want a hot cup of Tea or a Cappuccino not just coffee all the time. You can't get but a sliver of water out without putting a pod in it. Not worth the time or money to use... If you are only a straight coffee drinker you probably will like the machine. Also it is very cool that it keeps the empty pods in until you are ready to dispose of them...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Makes a wonderful cup of coffee and espresso! Sadly there is no way to control the amount of water dispensed without holding your finger on the button. One time the espresso is perfect the next time there is enough for a full cup of coffee,

The machine seems very well built, produces hot coffee with delightful crema. However, the coffee was not to my taste. I tried several different coffee and espresso capsules. The dark roasts were too acidic, with non-complex flavor notes. The medium roasts were too light for my taste. Sadly, I returned the system due to the coffee.

I appreciate the versatility of my coffee machine, allowing me to use both coffee pods and espresso pods. While the machine is currently working well for me, I have some reservations about its long-term durability. It seems that the plastic used, especially in crucial components like the lid for closing the coffee pod compartment, might not be as robust as I had hoped.
Comparing it to my previous espresso machine, there's a noticeable difference in the material's hardness. I'm a bit concerned about the longevity, particularly when manipulating the lid to insert a pod and initiate the espresso process. To address this, I wish the next iteration of the machine could incorporate more durable materials, perhaps metal, especially for parts subjected to frequent use and stress, like the lid.
I am being cautious when handling the lid to avoid any potential issues.
Despite these concerns, I must highlight that the machine's overall performance is satisfactory. Taking proactive measures to handle it carefully will likely contribute to its lasting functionality.
