Disappointing

Just like last year’s calendar, this is DISAPPOINTING. Hardly anything to build, several days are just a figure or just an animal that you don’t even need to put together. One day is just a skateboard 😠. Redundant pieces from last year. Kids disappointed by the experience both years. Were gifts but may have to tell the giver next year to skip this! **2023’s was great, please Lego, go back to something like that!** Pick a theme like “Christmas Market” where everything goes together and makes a fun set instead of sad, disjointed pieces.

Extremely disappointing!!

This is the fourth year we’ve bought one of these advent calendars and we are extremely disappointed. The individual builds are much smaller than previous years. One was just a cat in a box, another just a skateboard with a helmet. My son had been disappointed over and over each day, which is just not acceptable coming from a brand we thought we could trust. The value has gone down significantly, and we will not be buying one next year. Will go to a Lego resale shop and make our own - it would be more worth it and more fun for our child. He says that this shouldn’t even count. Do better, LEGO.

Cute and fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging on this LEGO City Advent Calendar is bright, fun, and instantly got my 5-year-old excited (he spotted Santa and the little reindeer figure right away). The holiday theme is super cozy and playful, and each day’s surprise feels like a tiny win for him. He couldn't wait til December to open one 🥲. The builds are small enough that he can assemble most of them on his own, but still detailed enough to keep him interested. The designs are cute, festive, and perfect for little hands. Overall, it’s been a really satisfying countdown activity, he loves opening each door, and I love watching him proudly show off what he built.

Fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Although we are only on day three of opening the Advent calendar my 8- year old son absolutely loves finding a new little figure in the morning. He adds them to all his other Lego collections and can't wait until the next day to open up the new one for a complete Advent calendar set.

Really fun

The builds have been fun and not super complicated. We get to spend a little quality time together helping build. We are looking forward to Christmas to complete the entire advent calendar.

Day 1 is nothing

My youngest son, the last to believe, woke up this morning excited to see what Elf brought him. He opened day 1 of his Lego advent calendar and it was nothing. Disappointment should not be learned on Dec 1, but I guess it’s the lesson for the day. I’ve been purchasing these for 8 years and have never experienced this.
