They only distribute this soda out of Illinois so they never have it on the shelf plus this is way healthier than drinking diet soda and it is spot on. Couldn’t be happier. Will definitely buy it again.

It captures the general essence of the original, with a strong artificial cherry taste and a slight citrus undertone. However, the flavor can be a bit overwhelming and leans more towards a cough syrup-like taste if not mixed properly. The artificial sweeteners are noticeable, leaving a lingering aftertaste that some may find unpleasant.
On the plus side, it’s convenient, low in calories, and a good alternative to sugary sodas. The powder dissolves fairly well, though occasional clumps can occur if not stirred properly. It provides a refreshing, energizing feel, making it a solid choice for fans of diet sodas or zero-sugar drinks. However, if you’re sensitive to artificial sweeteners or expecting a perfect replica of the original Code Red, this might not fully satisfy your cravings.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Code red for soda stream, yes, please! It is more cherry flavored than normal code red, but it's not overbearing. It's easy to mix into the bottle. The red did stain my husband's fingers, though. Overall, it is definitely one to repurchase
