Nice Enhancement for Touring

Nice addition that really shines on long highway treks. I found it functional but personally less useful in city traffic as my attention is always sharp in that riding situation. Where it really helps is while chewing up highway miles for at-a-glance situational awareness. Of course this should never replace a good mirror check but as an added alert layer I find it quite useful. It took a few weeks to make glancing down at the screen feel like a natural part of scanning process - give it a little time is my recommendation. Cons: getting the lights in the right peripheral location is tricky on an adventure bike with taller mirrors - I have them mounted next to my instrument panel and its not super obvious when the lights illuminate - I have mainly been using the visuals with my XT2. I'm still working on finding decent placement for LEDs. Another very mild annoyance is the misclassification of some vehicles as motorcycles. In the grand scheme it doesn't matter if a car is shown as a motorcycle icon but it'd inspire more confidence if it could 100% make that determination - is it making other mistakes? Closing comments: Love it and glad I purchased. Also, trust, buy verify :)
