protect pixil 9 but c'mon, for 40 bucks?

Yes the hard shell cover does what it's supposed to but for $40 bucks? Looks like it was made for maybe, 40 cents over seas, do better best buy if you want repeat customers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
