I bought this grill to replace the Traeger I normally use while traveling in my rv. So far, the jury is still out if this pellet grill is as good as the Traeger. The Pit Boss does weigh less than the Traeger, but the Traeger has a better range of temperatures to cook on that the Pit Boss does not have. If I want to cook a steak at 375 degrees, I can do it on a Traeger, but I can’t on the Pit Boss. The Pit Boss is also harder to clean. So, as of right now, I can only rate the Pit Boss in the middle of the pack.
