Set at 2:25 it goes up to 260 and down the 200

This grill sucks.

Thought it was a great purchase. All I get is error codes since new. Turn it on and come back later and err. Nothing has been dependable since I bought it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I got this to gift for Father’s Day to my husband. We have been using it pretty regularly. From tri tips to brisket, we have done it all. It’s really the best smoker/grill for the outdoors. We have been RV’ing full time and we just love the simplicity of it! My husband can even take it to work with him (oilfield/crane operator) and grill his own for lunch/dinner.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Set to smoke and wait 10 minutes close the lid and temp just keeps on rising til I finally turn it off? Sure would like to know what the problem might be.
