I bought this grill to replace the Traeger I normally use while traveling in my rv. So far, the jury is still out if this pellet grill is as good as the Traeger. The Pit Boss does weigh less than the Traeger, but the Traeger has a better range of temperatures to cook on that the Pit Boss does not have. If I want to cook a steak at 375 degrees, I can do it on a Traeger, but I can’t on the Pit Boss. The Pit Boss is also harder to clean. So, as of right now, I can only rate the Pit Boss in the middle of the pack.

Thanks for sharing your experience! It’s helpful to hear your perspective as someone familiar with Traeger grills. While the Pit Boss may have some differences in temperature range and cleaning, we hope it still delivers solid results for your RV cooking adventures. Happy grillin' StillSmilin!
Went to do product cleaning heat cycle, couldn't even get pellets fed into the fire pot without it throwing err code. Tried multiple times to keep getting the same code.

Hi Korbin E, that sounds incredibly frustrating, especially when you’re just trying to run a routine cleaning cycle. Our support team can help troubleshoot the error and get the pellets feeding properly so your grill runs like it should.
