Wireless Connect Box makes this worth it.

At this point, realistically, you can get the same display quality and ambient picture mode on many TVs. So why The Frame? I've always liked the idea of The Frame ever since I saw it in a friend's house, but I wasn't impressed by the picture quality - when actually using it as a TV, it seemed dim and very washed out. When I heard about The Frame Pro, I figured I would give it a shot.
I'm very happy with the display quality (it's finally up to par/better than many TVs in this price range), and the Art mode works as I expected it to.
What has really makes it worth it in use is the wireless connect box. I glossed over this feature when I first did my research, figuring it was just a nice to have, but in practice, this is actually a game changer. It makes the display feel like an actual display, not a TV, as after it's mounted, you basically never have to interact with the physical unit again - all connectivity can happen where you want it. Tucked into a drawer, right next to your router, etc. With this feature alone, it turns the TV into a real wireless smart screen. Now when I look into alternatives, they all seem like nice, comparable TVs - but this one stands apart for the wireless connect box. It is a bit expensive, but with all of the features (amazing picture quality, seamless wall mount design, and wireless connect box), I expect to love this for more than a decade. Highly recommend.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The TV That Doubles as Art
on December 18, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The display was stunning — crisp, colorful, and genuinely convincing as framed art when not in TV mode. The picture quality is fantastic, especially in Art Mode, where it blends perfectly into the room instead of screaming “electronics.” The matte display kills glare, colors look natural, and it even adapts to room lighting so artwork looks real day or night.
Smart features are smooth — easy setup, good remote responsiveness, and solid integration with apps. The invisible wall mount makes it sit flush, which completes the illusion. I added the Modern Teak bezel later, and that small touch just ties everything together. My guests genuinely think it’s a framed print.
At its price, it’s a splurge, but for design lovers who hate ugly black screens, The Frame is worth it. Slick tech disguised as décor

Cream of the crop

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 85” frame tv has delivered as advertised. So nice to have the artwork when the tv off. Great selection of available art. The tv delivers as well when steaming sports and movies. Looking to purchasing at least one more smaller one for another part of the house.

Beautiful TV, but there are some conectivity issue
on January 20, 2026

The Samsung Frame TV lives up to its name—it's absolutely beautiful. When it's off, it looks like a piece of art on the wall, and the picture quality when it's on is excellent. The design alone makes it a standout in any living room. However, there are some significant drawbacks that potential buyers should know about. The biggest issue for me has been connectivity, particularly with Bose speakers. I paired it with a Bose Soundbar 900, and every single time I turn the TV off, the soundbar loses its connection. The only reliable fix is to unplug and replug the One Connect box, which is incredibly inconvenient and breaks the seamless experience you'd expect from a premium TV. Additionally, the app selection feels limited. Basic apps are there, but several that should be standard (like HDHomeRun for over-the-air DVR integration) are missing entirely, forcing workarounds or alternative devices. Overall, if aesthetics are your top priority and you're not relying on specific third-party audio setups or niche apps, this TV is worth considering. But for a trouble-free smart TV experience, these persistent issues make it hard to recommend without reservations. Samsung could fix a lot of this with firmware updates, but as it stands, it's a mixed bag.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Caching issue
on March 8, 2026

After a previous session, when trying to switch to a new user on certain TV apps, the app freezes and must be reinstalled. This is a caching issue. Fix This.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi,
We appreciate your feedback regarding your Frame Pro TV’s performance. If you're experiencing freezing or lag in general response time, please try the following steps: 1. Check for firmware updates – Keeping your TV up to date can resolve many performance issues: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now 2. Run Device Care – This tool checks system memory, frees up cached data, and closes background apps that could be slowing things down: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care 3. Cold boot your TV – With the TV powered on, press and hold the Power button on your remote for 5+ seconds until the TV restarts. This helps refresh the system.
If you're still noticing performance snags after these steps, please contact Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM – 12AM EST, 7 days a week. You can also connect with a LiveChat agent via the ‘Support’ link on our website.
