All the incentivized 5 star reviews are BS. Been on all the watch lists since March. It’s never been available anywhere. Advertising an option with no intent of supporting it for 6 months is flat out lying to customers. Don’t think I’ll ever buy another GE product after I finally get this conversion kit

For a product *not even on the market*. Thi review is because this 1 star is literally the lowest i can go to quantify the disappointment in this product since its doesnt exist.
Been waiting to buy one of these so the portable AC unit isnt entirely 100% worthless in the single hose configuration. Any air that single hose pushes out of your house creates a negative pressure in your home. Guess where that air comes from to equalize pressure in your house? Literally outside, through any opening ever. It will blow cold air for you, but heat will come right back in just as fast, if not faster, since the single hose emits heat on its way to the window. So now you have hot air coming in thru walls and windows, AND heat coming off the hose. Sounds efficient. This RAP-02 kit is literally the only thing that makes a portable AC unit actually work. My portabe AC unit has been sitting there for months, and have since just replaced it with other normal window units elsewhere.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cant find this anywhere. I don’t think it ever existed and why would this not be part of the unit to begin with. Smells fishy.

Necessary dual hose kit not available.

We purchased this unit over a month ago. It's not even hot yet and it cant keep up with keeping the front of our house cool. With out the dual hose kit it just sucks in hot air in from out side through any crack or vent. The house just keeps getting progressively warmer throughout the day. Lots of money spent for a unit that dosnt work all that well without this dual hose kit that is unavailable for the foreseeable future. I think we will have to return this one and get one that works. Dont buy this unit untel if ever this kit is available.

I have asked every parts store and appliance store for this part. The AC I bought has this part advertised all over the box. This is supposed to be a game changer for the AC yet nobody has ever seen it available to purchase...

I purchased the AC unit that advertises this on the front of its box. It’s not nearly powerful enough and claims to be 3x more efficient with this kit. Too bad it’s impossible to get, I’ve been checking for over a month now. I’ll be returning to purchase something else.
