Bought this unit for our 10 x 12 bedroom.Installed unit as per instruction and was ready for a restful night's sleep. Sadly after about 1 hour the unit abruptly stopped working and flashed an FL warning code. Checked manual and it said to empty tank. Emptied about maybe 1 cup of water(that was all that came out, even after gently tilting unit) . Restarted unit only to have it happen again after about 1 hrs! Again emptied small amount of water. Opened window and turned on celing fan! Hopefully store will let me return it !

Sometimes a portable air conditioner may shut off and show an "FL" code in the display. The "FL" code means that the unit has filled with water and shut off. Your portable air conditioner removes heat and humidity from the room. Under certain conditions like extreme humidity or trying to cool multiple rooms, the unit may not be able to evaporate all of the water it is removing. Make sure that the doors and windows in the room you are cooling are closed. If you continue to have an issue, consider moving for ward with an exchange.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit looks nice, is easy to maneuver, and easy to drain. The remote control makes operating it so easy.
The unit was easy to install, and comes with a variety of panels to accomodate different sizes of window openings. As other reviewers mentioned, it is rather noisy, but it is a small price to pay for the relief from the sweltering summer heat. It cools our 100 square foot bedroom comfortably. Also, true to other reviews, it does not chill the air as well as a window unit. Nevertheless, it is effective enough to warrant a recommendation from me.
