[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always bought Samsung TVs because their picture quality has always captivated me with the way so many colors look so real, and I would never change them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is amazing, the clarity, you can walk right up to the screen with no blur, The colors and skin tones are lifelike. I upgrade from my 65" 8K Samsung to this 85" iwish they had a 100" as my game room is 24x24. But this TV at least once a week I look at it and say WoW that picture is amazing. I am super hppy with it and the Q990 soundbar system with it is like being in a theater.

NOT WORTH THE PRICE!

The main issue, as many users and reviewers have noted, centers on motion handling. Despite having a 120Hz refresh rate panel and features like "AI Motion Enhancer Pro," the TV suffers from a "decent" at best response time with noticeable blur behind fast-moving objects.
For sports enthusiasts, this is a major drawback. Fast action, like a football being thrown or a soccer ball moving across the field, can result in a blurry picture and a "dirty screen effect" towards the center of the screen, where the image uniformity is less than perfect. This is particularly frustrating for a TV that is marketed as "great for watching sports" in a bright room. While its high brightness and anti-glare screen are excellent for daytime viewing, they don't fix the underlying motion blur that can make the game a less-than-immersive experience.
Moreover, if you're streaming sports from a low-bitrate source (which is common for many cable and streaming services), the TV's processing can struggle to smooth out pixelization and macroblocking artifacts, leading to a muddled image that is far from the crystal-clear 8K experience you paid for.
The Samsung 75" Class Neo QLED 8K QN990F is a TV of contradictions. It offers stunning brightness, vibrant colors, and incredible sharpness for static or slow-moving 8K/4K content. However, its core weakness lies in motion handling for fast action. For a television with a price tag in the multi-thousands, these performance issues during everyday activities like watching sports are simply unacceptable. Until native 8K content is widely available and the motion processing is perfected, this TV feels like an expensive glimpse into the future that hasn't quite arrived. I will add that its simply criminal that we cannot view these TVs in real time under streaming platform we use regularly. Had I seen these issues in store my decision would have been quite different. Lastly, I have a 4 year old Samsung OLED panel and the experience I have watching sports is similar. You could also argue that in some cases the experience is better on the older panel. I will leave with this. Be carful buying this TV!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
