Great picture, features, ease of set-up

We bought this a year ago for my husband's gallery. He is a technophobe and refused to install it. I was intimidated as well. Then we found that if was not necessary for the gallery, but I wanted it as a cat cam :)
The system really is plug and play. I plugged in one camera (not using both right now), popped the memory card in, and then plugged in the monitor. Instant clear picture! I then downloaded the manual from the website and spent about an hour reading it and exploring the features. The manual offers super clear, easy to follow instructions. Within that hour I had figured out how to set today's date and time, how to record with motion activation or at specific days/times of day, alarm (if a cat, or anyone), walks in front of it, automatic reuse of storage area when tape is full, and how to review and delete recordings.
It is super user-friendly, and I'm extremely happy I finally got the guts to install it. I should have done this a year ago :)

A great purchase and easy to install as well as setting up. The videos and manual provided all the assistance required for a person that is not "tech" savvy. I am very satisfied with the quality of the pictures. The first night we set it up, we recorded a bear walking across our front yard on a pitch black night with no visible lights from anywhere. The camera's IR lights worked well.
Nicely design product.

works better than i thought for the price.ease of button use.other than the 15 min i spent running the wires it worked as soon as i powered it up.amazed at what it does,nobody gets up my walk way w/o the system taping it.i like that i can watch live video or use the sleep feature and it alerts you and you see it at the same time,awesome......clear picture,night vision is real nice.field of view and distance are also good.this is a simple install,screw the camera down,run power wire to camera,set monitor on a shelf or wall mount,plug in monitor,turn it on and you have live video.so easy......love it.

Both Daniela and Suzanne did their best to solve my problem. My two camera unit works non stop. My four camera unit has been performing just as great. I can check my house from Europe. Have purchased three systems altogether.

I purchased these cameras simply because of the reviews, they were very easy to install, and the monitor sits on my nightstand, where I have a total of 4 camera wireless monitors, and they do not interfere with each other at all, great signal, and video, I can see my vehicle better than the previous cameras I had, I like the customer service, and information listed about the product on the website that has full detail including what interferes with device, and how to obtain a good signal. they work very well, and I am pleased with the service, including how well they were packed for shipping with foam cushions inside preventing damage during shipment, Thanks Defender we can sleep better.......James

Great camera system

Bought this camera system for monitoring my backyard and pool area. The installation was a breeze. The cameras are great. Still learning all the features and operation, but so far I could not expect anything better. The system is cost effective and the night vision, two way sound and picture quality are outstanding.
My only note is that some 2.4 KHz interference causes the signals to drop momentarily.
