I bought for my husband for christmas 2016. I opened and was able to figure out set up. I knew it would be easy for him if I could do it....

Just recv'd this system & easy as can be installation. You would not believe the quality of the cameras & monitor. We are ordering another set for the other side of our house. very happy with this purchase.

Too good to be true?

While looking for a wireless door bell intercom, I ran across this PhoenixM2. Not knowing, at the time, that it had audio capability, I thought that this would be a great addition to an intercom. After I read on and discovered it indeed did have an intercom, my first thought was,"this is too good to be true". It is a stand alone system that doesn't require a smart phone or computer or any kind of linking up like wifi. I ordered it because of the simplicity and reasonable price (considering the capabilities). I must admit, my expectations weren't very high.
I installed it in a matter of minutes, not hours, and it worked right out of the box. It is truly a plug in and play system. I am very impressed with the picture quality, even in the dark, and the other functions and it also records video on an SD card. It works just as advertised and I couldn't be happier.
The only negatives I can see are that the monitor seems a little light duty and the users manual (which is very good) is a little hard to find on the Defender web sight. It probably took longer to find the manual than to install the system.

I bought this product a week ago and it is exactly as advertised. It's quick to set up and has a clear picture. I also have found out that the customer service is excellent. Would recommend to anyone

I missed the setup sheet in the box so had to wing it, but had no problem. This is a great product -- good color and resolution plus lots of recording options for a reasonable price. A website link (in English) to the manual would be a real help.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy to use fast shipping night vision not good

They shipped very fast and was very user friendly, the quality of the night vision is poor you can't really recognize the face of the individual, often goes out of signal even when closed to the camera. Will probably buy a nest outdoor 1080p camera next
