The PHOENIXM22C is fantastic. I mounted the cameras, one in the South window one in the West window. Followed the menu selections, nice clear images, it beeps when someone is coming, Fantasic for the house. Thanks

Good cameras

Had these a couple months now and for the most they are good cameras the night vision could be better and I think the biggest thing is they are REALLY sensitive because the central unit kicks on and sets them off but other than that they are great cameras and would purchase again.

OUT OF RANGE PROBLEMS

I have looked at many of the reviews and it seems that the "Out of Range" problem still exists. I purchased my first unit two years ago and after several months I had the above mentioned problem. The customer service people were very nice but after returning two systems, and three replacements, the "Out of Range" issue was never solved. For those of you that have been experiencing this issue without resolve, I recommend getting a COBRA system. I hated to spend the additional money on another system that might be no better than the Defender, or possibly be worse, but that was not the case. The Defender and the Cobra work on the same channel so they are compatible, the Defender Camera works with the Cobra Monitor, and I have not had an "Out of Range" signal in the past 6 months. There is one issue, the Cobra monitor will only record the Defender camera for 6 seconds, no matter what setting you have. When the Cobra camera is used, there is no issue. If the "Out of Range" signal is an issue with anyone else, then you might consider the COBRA system.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I did not believe it would be so easy to set up. It was extreme easy to instal and worked also most instantly. Works much better than I thought it would.

When I received the I check everything out, then I installed it in less than 45 minutes and the quality of the picture was great. This unit gives me an image on my front door and back door, as well as my shop out side. As an old advertisement said, "So easy, even a Cave Man can do it"
