Perfect desk

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect desk for our small office area. I love the size of the desk but also the design. It's neutral enough that you can make it into your own and fits press much any aesthetic that you're going for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this desk for my daughter and she loves it, it is a beautiful desk want to put together. It is the right size to get things done as far as schoolwork or crafts. However building it was a little bit of a pain. It took about three hours to put all the pieces together, but once it was finished, it looked fantastic. Definitely recommend.

This is not a well-made item

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Do not be fooled by the Martha Stewart branding....the quality of this desk is appallingly low. It is much LOWER QUALITY than a similar item from Ikea, and much HARDER TO ASSEMBLE. The faux wood laminate is absolutely terrible. It looks like someone took a photo of bad laminate and pasted that photo on the surface of this desk, making the "wood grain" look like dull brown cheap plastic. The entire thing is not really even particle board, it is hard pressed paper basically, although that doesn't really make it any easier to re-drill all the off-kilter holes that are an insufficient depth. You will have a hard time if you think you can do this with just a manual screwdriver because of those insufficient holes being a fraction of the depth they need to be. To make things worse, some of the parts, such as drawer slides, which are supposed to be identical in length, were different lengths (and covered in grease, which gets everywhere). All of the drawers are installed crooked, due to millimeter differences in the holes and the drawer slides. I hate crooked drawers! They should come pre-assembled.
The instruction manual is appalling as well. It is full of wrong information, typos, misspellings, and poor quality illustrations that look large, but have microscopic details. And some steps of the instructions leave out key information that you are left to telepathically infer on your own. (I should point out that I am an experienced engineer who has worked on aircraft and satellites, and am very comfortable assembling flat pack furniture, and even I found this assembly to be miserable, so if you are less technically inclined, be prepared for difficulty.) They should be ashamed of slapping the Martha Stewart brand name on this low-quality, garbage desk. For what it's worth, I have seen some reviews that mentioned how high-quality and easy-to-assemble it was, and I can only assume those are fake, because no one in their right mind would call this a well-designed, high-quality item. This is not a well-crafted item.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Flash Furniture Ollie Home Office Desk with 3 drawers in Walnut Wood Grain with Polished Brass Hardware is both beautiful and useful. I love the sturdiness of the unit and the slim, sleek design. It is the perfect fit in my home office as I am going with a more minimalistic style due to space. I was a little concerned I would have an issue when the box was delivered as it is solid but the desk is easy to assemble with clear instructions. I have received many compliments on it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ollie Home Office Desk with 3 Drawers in Walnut Wood Grain with Polished Brass Hardware, was the perfect addition to my newly redecorated pre teen daughters room! The clean lines, wood, and gold fixtures fit her “mature” aesthetic perfectly! The desk is a great size for her to do home work on while having her Chromebook on it also, plus school supplies and makeup/skincare. The three drawers give her enough space without too much, helping to hinder clutter.
I would recommend this to a friend!

She doesn't have a huge room so we were looking for something sleek and streamlined. This desk Ollie wood grain desk fit the bill. It is a very lovely desk. It was easy enough to put together and us very well made.

It is perfect for my craft room office. It is minimalistic yet beautiful InDesign. I like the open concept with 3 drawers are perfect for keeping Essentials at hand. Assembly was easy and I was able to do it by myself on my own. I would recommend this desk to anyone who's looking for a simple clean desk area.

The gold color and classic straight lines give it a modern look. Just be careful to not scratch the gold paint when putting it together!
