I'm replacing an old Herschel Supply Co same size with almost the same details and was convenient. The only thing is missing are the little stripes on the zippers that makes easy to pull and close. The last one has a letter stripes that works perfectly, you should keep them on all of your models.
The bag is amazing. I am so in love! There is so much space that I find myself just putting more and more in the bag. Maybe more than I need most of the time
Just returned from European vacation and was extremely happy with my new backpack/carry on, especially since my luggage didn’t return with me. Still has my necessities.
Barely used backpack and the leather is a mess. Not a good look for either of us, Herschel. Needless to say I’m very disappointed in a brand I once thought of as go-to.
Within less than a year of owning the backpack, the entire leather at the bottom started peeling randomly on the edges. I’ve always been careful in taking care of it and the rest of the bag is in perfect condition. This should not be considered normal wear and tear, where the material breaks down in less than a year. Very poor build and material quality and be wary of their “warranty” as they’ll find an excuse (such as “normal wear and tear” rather than admitting it was poor materials usage) to not replace the bag or address concerns.
Beautiful product. Mid quality. The zipper gets stuck when I’m opening and closing my backpack. Does not have any tassels on the zipper, like Jansports, that make it ergonomic friendly. Straps I wish were as long as Jansports. Unfortunately, for big backs it does run fairly small. For the positives: great looking, great color, feels expensive, the side pockets are great, fits a 32oz and 40oz bottle with ease. The pocket organizers are great. I am in grad school and it’s the perfect little, simple bag.
