This is third Pop Quiz I have purchased and while it still looks nice on the outside, the laptop sleeve and interior look and feel much cheaper and plain than before. Not what I expected and the change was not highlighted on the website.

Too big

I like the quality and color of the backpack, but it is way too big for me. I thought I'd use it for grad school commuting, going around the city with my two young kids, and airplane travel, but it's too big for all those things. I'm 5'5" and I feel like it takes up my entire back. I'm going to try the 18L for a better size.

BOO on getting rid of the bright interior

Herschel made a serious error in getting rid of the red and white striped interior. If the purpose was to be more "adult" the purpose was defeated because nobody wants a dark interior bag. I cannot see inside of a black bag. It is like a bottomless pit. The BIG reason I purchased Herschel was because of the unique red and white striped interior. You could see EVERYTHING. Now, it is just like any old other backpack and I have moved on to a different backpack manufacturer who believes in be able to see contents.

Greatly quality, felt it was worth the price

The backpack is really nice quality. The outer material is a good thickness and I like the leather bottom. The pockets for water bottles is surprisingly deep and bigger than I expected. I have only had it for a few weeks but have given it daily use. I think is will hold up for a couple years
