[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't rave enough about Lenovo. I've had 4 devices, some have taken a beating and kept on working. This one is very fast - a good upgrade to the ideapad I bought 5 years ago. I love that it has tons more memory and an upgraded processor. I know it's not the top of the line but I'm really impressed with this thing considering the reasonable price tag. Very sleek - the metallic blue sure is beautiful.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our Lenovo Ideapad slim 5i. It offers all the computing power we need, with a nice big touch screen and a crystal clear display. It has plenty of horsepower for processing and lots of storage. We used the camera yesterday for a zoom call and everything was perfect. I love the touchscreen, and it seems to meet all over computer needs. The Lenovo migration assistant made short work of transferring all of our data from our machine to this new one. I highly recommend the Lenovo idea Pad slim 5i.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this laptop. The 16" is a perfect size screen...the 16 gigs of ram with the I5 processor makes this a reasonably fast computer.
My only suggestion would be to make the sound louder.
The speakers need to be on the top by the keyboard.
With that said I always use headphones so it isn't an issue for me.
Had a Lenovo that was great many years ago, so thought I'd return to the brand.Not as happy as I thought I would be. First of all I've never had a laptop that showed so many fingerprints. Also, having a backlit keyboard was important to me; however this one only lights up after you've pressed a key. And the keyboard is not as easy to type on. I miss the facial recognition I had on my previous laptop because this fingerprint sensor is not very sensitive. It's frustrating. These annoyances, among others, makes me wonder why the same quality I found in my previous Lenovo is missing.

I really liked my computer at first and I had no issues with it. But after about 10 months of using it, it just completely stopped working. The warranty was only 6 months, so it was already off of warranty. I had to buy another computer since I rely on my laptop daily for my business.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
