[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was most excited to purchase my new Galaxy S25 Ultra as a replacement for my old A13 for the sharp increase in camera quality; I was not disappointed. I appreciate the use of the new Galaxy AI features in the camera, specifically in the 'remaster photo' option and the ability to erase unwanted subjects from the photo. Great job, Samsung!

Stop corporate greediness & start innovating.

Samsung S25 Ultra without S-Pen Bluetooth but carrying the Ultra price and name is a preposterous. Why Samsung risking removing it just to save couple bucks per phone (but yes it's millions in saving depending on the sales) and getting all the backlash while it only benefit them profit wise and not for the benefit of customers either money saving wise or feature wise...you're all talking about innovation but indeed kill the innovation by doing it. Other things that Samsung can improve is 16gb ram instead of 12gb this is 2025 with the talking about AI, then the battery it could use a newer tech like carbon silicone battery and bigger capacity but none of all that and yet you still call it innovation...

Dont buy it

Absolutely hate this phone. They have ruined everything great about Samsung phones. Droid to Droid video call is gone. Now have to do video through Google video. Navigation bar is garbage. It gets in the way of every day apps and if you switch to the one that doesnt show, that function doesnt work properly either. Sound goes out for fb messenger from time to time. I had a note 9 before this. I held on to it for 6 years and only got this phonebl because I had to when my daughter broke the phone. This phone should not be 1200 and to see they are coming out with a 26 when there are basic functions that dont work on thr 25 is comical. I miss the old phones because this new stuff is garbage and doesnt work like it should.

This review is for a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra
My last phone with the Samsung Galaxy S10. I love that phone but I dropped it and cracked the screen & instead of fixing the phone I bought this phone and I am not happy. I live in a condo on the 2nd floor, of 7 floors. I get a lot of drop calls. The dictation does not work as well as my last phone. My biggest issue is the voice command. I have to unlock my phone in order to get a response. And usually when I lock my phone I have to ask google the same question over. On my samsung galaxy S10, my former phone I was able to say, hey, google, turn the AC to 75 degrees and it would do it. But the samsung galaxy s25, It says, you have to unlock your phone, which is a great inconvenience, because a lot of times I'm half sleep and I have to find my phone. My Samsung Galaxy S10 worked a lot better. It answer almost all commands.
It's capability was just better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Stick with the S24 Ultra, The S25 Ultra Is Awful.

The S25 Ultra is my most disliked phone of the decade. The S Pen no longer has Bluetooth connectivity and it no longer has a battery. And I really hate the new camera lenses, especially with them sticking out and collecting dust. Another thing too, Samsung’s new One UI 8 is such an eyesore. The app icons look dull and unoriginal (especially the new Mail icon. It now has an @ symbol in the middle???). Samsung also changed everything in the standard UI, with the App Search bar now being on the bottom and the app opening transition now looking less interesting and a lot more. Samsung is taking steps backwards now, and I think these actions are really bad mistakes, and they make me not want to buy another Samsung product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've had my s25 ultra for at least 7 months now. I will say that im not that impressed with it so far. It now charges so slow it takes over 2 1/2 hrs. The camera is in my opinion worse then the s23 ultra. Especially at night. The screen is not as bright and vibrant as they claim it to be. I had to take the screen protector off because it was so hard to see. Even with the brightness at max with extra brightness on. But now I have to keep the brightness really low because it won't charge and the phone heats up really bad. I have to put it in the freezer sometimes. Personally I think they really need to focus on quality instead of quantity. Because taking the same platform and making a few changes to the software, then putting it in a new shell isn't working. Make sure when you claim the phone has a 200 mega pixel and 100x zoom, that it actually works and doesn't look so terrible. Maybe people would buy more phones instead of buying a phone that is far superior camera wise.
