I upgraded from the Sansung A51, and man... It's night and day. I love my new S25 Ultra! The screen is crisp... I can stream my Xbox games from the cloud in crystal clear UHD... The CAMERA... Then there's the built in PenUp app which I can't believe is free. Also the enhanced AI features have been a game changer. I can ask Gemini to search for various information, and compile the results directly into my notes. I have used this feature for everything from general research, to creating back stories for D&D characters.
Tl:Dr. If you love Samsung, and your using a device that is older than the S24... This is the phone for you.
Did I mention it has a built in video editor as well?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

IM SO UPSET THEY CHANGED THE SCREEN FROM THE Dynamic AMOLED, TO THE SQUARE. THIS ISNT IPHONE. THE SQUARE SCREEN IS SO UNCOMFORTABLE TO HOLD. I HOPE THIS ONE NEVER DIES SO I DONT HAVE TO CHANGE/UPGRADE LOL
My last phone was 10 yrs old, Android would no longer update and apps would not update. I was excited to get some new tech and I had not owned a Samsung since the early Note I had which I loved. A little disappointed with this S25 Ultra. First off, you can't add a micro SD card to increase memory. The internal memory is all you get, so choose wisely. Lots of useless bloatware on a $1400 phone. The phone constantly bugs you with "hey did you know you can do ____?" "Hey, want to try AI to do ___?". I spent an hour trying to turn garbage off, including tutorials, but the phone keeps popping up suggestions for settings, etc. Seems like there are 50 customization switches for each one thing you want to do, but I can't select a custom alert sound for text messages (anything other than the preinstalled tones, ie, I can't use a voice recording or music clip I load on the phone) or do a very specific setting I want. Notifications are hit and miss and the preloaded sounds are lame. Sometimes I get a sound alert of a text or an app update, sometimes I don't. No option to require text notifications to keep notifying until you aknowledge them. Anyway. The screen is beautiful and the functions are fast and responsive. Crazy amount of camera settings.

Major malfuntion

I bought this phone 2 weeks ago. It randomly popped up a green screen wont turn on or charge. Getting it replaced is a major hassle.
