[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ve been using the Galaxy S25 Ultra for a few weeks now, and it’s safe to say that Samsung has outdone itself again. This phone is a powerhouse in every sense of the word.
Performance:
With the new Exynos 2500 / Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 (depending on region), everything runs buttery smooth—apps launch instantly, multitasking is seamless, and gaming is top-tier. The AI enhancements make everything from photography to battery management smarter and more efficient.

Display:
The 6.9" QHD+ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate is simply stunning. It’s bright, vibrant, and perfect even in direct sunlight. Watching videos or editing photos on this screen is a dream.

Camera:
The quad-camera setup is phenomenal, especially the new 200MP main sensor. Low-light photography is significantly improved, and zoom capabilities up to 100x are more usable now thanks to better AI stabilization. The new generative AI photo features are surprisingly helpful for editing on the go.

Battery Life:
The 5,500 mAh battery easily lasts a full day with heavy use. Fast charging (both wired and wireless) is incredibly quick—getting to 50% in under 20 minutes.

Build & Design:
Premium all around. The titanium frame feels solid, and the matte finish on the back resists fingerprints well. It’s large, but still comfortable to hold thanks to the curved edges.

One UI 7.1 is clean, fast, and packed with features. Samsung's 7-year update promise is a huge plus for long-term use.

Everything I need

The Galaxy AI helps me switch back and forth even faster than before, while helping me remember where I left off with what.

I wish the s pen was how it used to be

A worthy upgrade with a few flaws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the S24 Ultra prior to upgrading to the S25 Ultra, and for me this is a noteworthy step up. I like to have the latest and this was worth it for me.
For starters, battery life is much better. I usually get to about 15% by bedtime.
The camera takes better pictures than the S24 Ultra did. And yes, I do make use of the Galaxy AI. I mainly use the generative AI to remove things I don't want in my pictures. I've been quite impressed by how well it works.

As for speed, it's about the same as the S24 Ultra, maybe a little faster. What's important to me is quick response and the S25 Ultra has it.
Concerning storage, I'm a power user so I went for the full 1TB option.
Now to some of the flaws. One of the features I wish was better is the Browsing Assist. While it did summarize the page I was reading, I found it to be a bit too generic. I was able to get a much better summary from other AI apps.
Another peeve I have is lack of direct Qi2 charging support. You can find cases which work with Qi2, but even with that it doesn't work well with the S-Pen. This is a missed opportunity in my opinion.

All in all if you're looking for an upgrade, the S25 Ultra will do nicely.

Sleek, bright, responsive screen. Great camera. I'm extremely happy and can't wait to see what Samsung does next.
