Be careful with this purchase.

This device has shutdown on me at least 75 times, it has went back to factory reset 8 times, it runs very hot to the touch when charging. I can smell an odd smell coming from it. I simply can't trust that this device won't catch fire, so I don't use it at all. These are some of the things that Samsung doesn't warn the consumers about. All of this money paid out for a phone that can cause bodily harm to someone. Be careful with this device.

Solid Phone for S22 Users and Older

This phone is generally better than the S22U I upgraded from, in basically every way, except the S Pen which is only an issue for photography; I used that function for taking 10x+ zoom photos, which I don't do often but is useful for taking photos of birds and animals which I like to do. With that one complaint out of the way, this is a very fast phone, and it is very customizable, while not overloading you with options, and giving useful tools to navigate the settings (highlighting the relevant setting to effect an apps function is SO helpful). The new notifications menu is great, and the "Now Bar" is actually more useful than a dynamic island because it's at the bottom of the screen. The screen is also noticeably better, but the main way that's appreciable is I don't have to hide my phone from direct sunlight in order to use the screen which is fantastic but a lack of friction isn't as obvious as a new menu screen. I also notice the battery life is better, probably 20% improvement on the S22U new, and closer to 50% more battery now, comparing the old S22U to the new S25U. I will say I use Google services almost exclusively, Chrome for browsing, Drive and its suite for productivity, YT and YT music for entertainment and the new Samsung UI fits it quite well at least in terms of home screen aesthetics. 1 feature I wish Samsung added is customization to widget stacks swiping (mine swipe horizontally and I want to stack them to vertically). And it'd be nice to lock app permissions/removal within the native settings/app preferences & perms rather than having to set up Knox (if that can even lock certain perms without biometrics, IDK haven't set it up). One more thing, the Tab Ultra line needs the keyboard to have a slight tilt to it, so you can fit a battery and BT in it, to give the keyboard the ability to extend the tabs battery life, and also allowing you to use the keyboard undocked, which turns it into a mobile desktop type unit, if I got bt speakers with stereo capabilities, it's theater-esque, or even just with good headphones for single person use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ultra to the max!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the Galaxy S25 ultra as my main camera, I'm no longer carrying a separate camera. The 1tb storage comes in handy, my old phone was almost maxed at 512gb. Also love the new Always on Display and the official crocs case

Back and Better Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pleased with the arrival of my new Samsung S25 Ultra. Its substantial storage capacity, coupled with the advanced Gemini AI features for photo-to-art conversion, is particularly impressive. It has seamless actions across all apps and the Now Brief that helps track my energy levels as part of Samsung Health. The enhanced processor facilitates faster upload and download speeds. Furthermore, I appreciate the phone's aesthetically pleasing rounded edges.

Just okay, not worth the upgrade from the S23
on February 17, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Device is just alright, but not much of an upgrade from the S23 and not really worth the money. The lack of Bluetooth in the s pen is a disappointment, the AI functions aren't really impressive, bixby still sucks, and the camera didn't really improve much.
