The ultimate phone for me
on October 10, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from a s24 ultra to a s25 ultra. Ok, this is definitely more responsive, it's down right fast when I am doing things in a stationary position. I have experienced frustration as I move around, drive down the road using android auto, change from phone towers to wifi networks. I don't know, maybe the newer software doesn't like my vpi app. It is a legitimate payed VPN that has always seemed seamless on the s24. With the new ui 7, and now 8, it seems themes are now redundant. I can do so much more customization using what's already on the phone and the Goodlock app, but the learning curve is high. Thank goodness for you tube videos. The phone has great battery life, with my usage pattern, I have yet to have to plug it into my battery pack at work. The memory seems very good for my needs, there is always the cloud If I need it. The phone feels very good in my hand, it's a hard thin rectangular box in my choice of case. I chose a case with mag lock and kick stand. It charges perfectly on the wireless mag lock charger in my truck. I have played with the AI choices. Doing searches with ai is quite an evolved method in comparison to all the webctawlers and search engines I have used over the years. The picture ai tools are the best part. You can repair colorize those old family photos so they look like they are taken with a modern camera.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Here’s a more compact review (~1500 characters) of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, with a look at how well Galaxy AI works in real use:
---
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is a powerhouse — it merges polished hardware with bold software ambitions. The device is built around a ~6.9‑inch QHD+ 120 Hz AMOLED display, and uses the custom Snapdragon 8 Elite chip plus 12 GB RAM in most models. Performance is stellar: apps open instantly, multitasking is seamless, and even heavy games run smoothly. Battery life is a strong point — in tests it lasted ~17+ hours of active use, edging past the S24 Ultra. Charging remains at 45 W, which is decent but not cutting‑edge.
In photography, Samsung hasn’t reinvented the wheel, but improved selectively. It retains a 200 MP main sensor, adds a 50 MP ultra‑wide, and carries over 5× and 3× telephoto lenses. Image quality is excellent in good light — sharp, lively, with well-managed highlights and shadows. In low light and at long zooms, noise and softness creep in, especially when pushed to extremes. The S Pen is still included, but Samsung trimmed features: the Bluetooth shutter/remote features are removed.
On the downside, the Ultra is large, heavy, and not the easiest to use one‑handed. Some users also find its flat sides and sharp edges uncomfortable. Also, the design evolution is more iterative than bold — you won’t find huge visual surprises over its predecessor.

The S25 Ultra Redefines What a Smartphone Can Be
on October 10, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The instant I turned on the Galaxy S25 Ultra was stepping into tomorrow. The display is breathtakingly beautiful—teal, sharp, and glassily silky to touch. Colors explode with photorealistic accuracy, and the adaptive refresh rate makes every swipe feel like moving in slow motion. Even against intense sunlight, visibility is perfect.
The battery life is equally impressive. Each application launches in seconds, multitasking is smooth as silk, and even the most graphics-intensive games run flawlessly without any overheating. The battery easily lasts the whole day even with heavy usage, and charging is extremely rapid.
And then there is the camera—a work of art in itself. Images come out rich, detailed, and natural, no matter the light. Zooming is pin-sharp, and night-time snaps are professional standard. Video recording is cinematic thanks to excellent stabilization.
In build, matte finish both feels and looks high-end and yet resists fingerprints. Stylus integration is smooth and accurate, and overall build screams quality.
After using it for several weeks, the S25 Ultra hasn't just met my expectations—it's rendered them asunder. It's classy, efficient with the Galaxy AI, and genius in every way.
Final Verdict: The Galaxy S25 Ultra is not just a phone—it's the pinnacle of innovation, performance, and style.

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the device, which I upgraded from the s20 and it is an improvement. I love that the galaxy AI works while my phone is connected via android auto which makes navigating super easy without taking my attention away from the road. The camera is the main reason I upgraded and I am glad I did but there are some things I dont super love. I do not love the default for the lock screen button being held for longer periods being Gemini. I liked knowing that was how I could power off my phone. It took me a while after I got it to realize that i could not turn it off how I was used to. I do feel like the s-pen is ridiculously easy to lose and overly expensive to replace. Im not sure why a regular stylus doesn't work as well on the device. Overall I do like it. It isnt bad. But it could be better.
