S25 Ultra
on February 25, 2025
Posted by: Absolutetech
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is a real head-turner. It has a sleek design with a glass front and back, framed by sturdy aluminum. It feels premium and solid in your hand, and it comes in some cool colors like Phantom Black, Phantom Silver, and a fresh Emerald Green. Plus, it's water and dust resistant, so you don’t have to worry about accidental splashes. The display on this phone is simply stunning. It’s a massive 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen that makes everything look vibrant and sharp. Whether you're watching videos or playing games, the 120Hz refresh rate keeps things super smooth. And with HDR10+ support, the colors really pop. If you love taking photos, you’ll be impressed by the camera setup. The S25 Ultra has four cameras on the back 108MP main camera for super detailed shots, A 12MP ultra-wide lens for capturing more of the scene, 10MP periscope telephoto lens with 10x optical zoom (and up to 100x digital zoom).

Smooth and reliable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Design and Display
Featuring a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, the S25 Ultra offers vibrant visuals and smooth scrolling. The device has been refined to be lighter and slimmer than its predecessor, with rounded corners enhancing ergonomics. However, some users have noted that the design includes hard edges, giving it a boxy feel, though it provides a secure grip.
Performance and Hardware
Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, the S25 Ultra delivers a 37% faster CPU and a 40% faster NPU performance compared to previous models, optimizing AI capabilities. Storage options range from 256GB to 1TB, catering to various user needs. Despite the impressive hardware, some users have reported that One UI 7 feels unpolished, affecting core functionalities.
Camera System
The camera setup includes a 200-megapixel primary sensor and a new 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, enhancing macro photography. While the hardware remains robust, the AI-driven features, branded as "Galaxy AI" and powered by Google's Gemini assistant, have received mixed reviews. Some users find these features underwhelming, with occasional issues in task execution.
Battery Life and Charging
The S25 Ultra maintains its battery capacity from previous models but incorporates optimizations for extended usage

Missing features that I liked and am used to
on February 25, 2025
Posted by: SlashD
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I agree and like all the new extra software features provided. What I don't like are the features that are removed that I use frequently as an S24 Ultra user as this is a downgrade and not an upgrade. 1. The Bluetooth feature of the stylus that helps me control the phone camera and the air actions is gone now and I miss it badly. 2. I like the sharper corners of S24 ultra display and I do not like the rounded corners of the S25 display. 3. I love the flip cover and I am used to it. I keep my frequently used cards there and also use it as a privacy shield. I did not see flip covers being sold this time and I am not sure if the magnetic interaction is taken away as well that the screen responded to when closing the flip cover.
Ultra is supposed to keep all the features even though it might be niche as some users do use them extensively and like them! For the first time I am disappointed as it seems like a downgrade to me other than the software features added.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love the S25 Ultra but they messed it up by taking off the Bluetooth SPen.. I didn't research about it because wasn't expecting for Samsung to go back instead of upgrading 🥲

May not need a laptop for many uses.
on February 25, 2025
Posted by: TTGypsy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ultra model with the 1tb memory is awesome. I use the phone for both work and personal. Large docs and spreadsheets inside of presentations ran without a hitch especially the added ability to show on a 38 inch monitor. Photos were very sharp and the colors brilliant. The only thing I can think of is the amount of ram could be higher when I ran a small video clip. I noticed a minor hesitation but then I am picky. I was also able to use a keyboard with the phone while using the monitor. That was a real help without having to resort to a laptop. I would say that the ultra can take place of a laptop comfortably.

The full Ultra suite is AMAZING
on February 25, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the full suite of Ultra products: the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, the Galaxy Watch Ultra, and the Book Cover Keyboard book for the Tab S10 Ultra, and the experience has truly been better than I expected. The seamless integration across all devices has been airtight, and I am being pretty demanding of all devices - I'm getting my master's degree and I'm juggling all of the school work, the videos, the papers, the research, the communication constantly in multiple windows, and almost always using the s pen on both the phone and the tablet for live notes while utilizing other apps, and move uninterruptedly from one device to the other on a single task depending on what the circumstance demands! Having all 3 of the devices completely changed everything for me regarding school work, work productivity, and personal life in general!
