Do not buy this.

Let's start with what this isn't: in no way is it an upgrade from its predecessor. It isn't even an upgrade from its predecessor's predecessor.
In it at least one way, it's a massive downgrade. For some reason the ability to customize individual app notification sounds has been removed from the OS. If the apps themselves had this feature built in this wouldn't be an issue, but few of them do. As a result, the default system notification sound is the notification sound for everything. Want to make sure the app that tells you when your prescription is ready at the pharmacy sounds different from the one that tells you your laundry is done, because some things are more important than others? You can't. Everything sounds the same.
Making matters worse, when I transferred the settings from my old phone, all of my custom notification sounds were removed. Not replaced with the system notification sound, removed entirely. Replaced with silence. Every single app I set up a custom notification sound for now has no notification sound.
and of course there's no way to set one up anymore.
I don't know if this was something Google decided to do with Android 15, or if it's something Samsung decided to do with One UI. If Samsung did it and they don't fix it, this is my last Samsung phone, ever. If Google did it, then I'm done with android. This is an enormous step backward in usability, and I can't believe somebody thought it was a good idea.
Don't buy this phone. In fact, it's probably best not to buy any phone with One UI 7 or Android 15. Find a nice used phone or an older model instead.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

You should upgrade immediately!

I have the beautiful navy galaxy s25+, that perfectly illustrates the galaxy brand with the phones deep, yet luminous color.
It seamlessly connects to my new buds, new galaxy tab s9 fe 5g, and my new galaxy ultra watch, and all my other home devices!
It is very easy to set up with the Samsung account and smartswitch. But, if you like to DIY things, it's very easy to get it exactly how you want it.
I also have newer galaxy buds fe!
I have it all!
The phone is wifi 6e compatible, and there is no latency at all!
Processing speed? It's not a speed when it's quicker than immediately!
It took me longer to type this sentence. I could have completed various tasks and searched several things in the amount of time it took to write this.
The display is amazing and it's very customizable so that you can make nearly everything how you want.
Fan of AI? You can use it to help write, design, edit, and much more!
I was using an s22, and this was the upgrade I needed.
The only thing I'm missing is a charging hub to complete my galaxy home!
I have even named my wifi gateway Galaxy, because they are setting the tone for what these devices should be!
They are excellent devices, especially the s25+, and you are able to use them for just about anything you need!
Get one as soon as you can, so you can experience it better than I can explain it!
