[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a few weeks with my Samsung Galaxy S25+, I can honestly say it’s one of the best phones I’ve used so far. It’s fast, smooth, and packed with smart features — especially the new Galaxy AI tools. But it’s not perfect, so here’s what I think.
The S25+ feels super premium — slim, solid, and comfortable to hold. I love the clean design and matte finish. The 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display is stunning: colors are vibrant, blacks are deep, and the 120 Hz refresh rate makes everything buttery smooth. Even in bright sunlight, it stays clear and easy to see.
Battery life has been pretty good. With normal use, it easily lasts me a full day. The 45 W charging could be faster compared to other brands, but it’s still decent — around 50–60 % in half an hour.
Now to the big topic — Galaxy AI. Samsung really pushed AI this year, and after using it for a while, here’s what I think.
Circle to Search: Probably my favorite. You just circle anything on the screen, and Google instantly gives info. Works great for shopping, travel, or random curiosity.
Live Translate & Interpreter: Super useful for talking to people in different languages. It translates calls and conversations in real time — perfect when traveling.
Generative Edit: Editing photos has never been easier. You can remove unwanted objects or move things around like magic. Sometimes the results look a bit artificial, but most of the time it’s impressive.
Chat Assist: Helps rephrase or polish your messages and emails

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always loved Samsung, but my new S25+ with Galaxy AI sets a new bar! It makes everything seamless and effortless. The battery life is phenomenal and the camera takes gorgeous shots. It's everything I've always loved about samsung to the next level.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This phone has been with me for 10 years, it has all the things on it and is still in good condition throughout the years. It is amazing how just having an otterbox case and an s10+ works wonders for a decade. The phone is reliable and can also run high end mobile games such as wuthering waves. It does feel very hot, but no bugs when playing that type of games as it meets the minimum requirement. For daily life and essentials, the s10+ is the most reliable that I've seen until I need to upgrade.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish i had any use for Galaxy AI. But I don't & it mostly just gets in the way of me doing whatever I was trying to do. I don't need news summaries or whatever else its doing. I literally have no use case for it. The phone is quick processing wise. The camera is decent but the AI smoothing that is applied to images makes for some disappointingly globby images when zoomed into extremes. Its 2025 and the SD card slot is a distant memory because carriers, samsung, google, et al would rather sell a monthly cloud service I guess. I always found it easier to pop in a 1 GB SD card, fill it, transfer it over to wherever and either keep that card as a time capsule or wipe it and start over. I really don't like having to swipe in the upper right to get to settings. I'm never- and I mean never swiping on the left to access notifications. Audio is decent. Charging speed is resolved & back to decent speed and capacity. Access to other samsung devices is pretty straightforward. It'd be nice to modify cursor when using wireless dex. I'd gladly buy a phone without Galaxy AI implemented. Likewise Bixby or audio assistants.
